Crimps cleanly and accurately
Crimps look good. The jaws are a standard style so the handle can be used with jaws from other manufacturers. The adjustable tension is a nice feature.

Nice crimper for insulated terminations AWG 10-14
This review is for the haisstronica Quick Change Jaws Crimping Tool.I have a haisstronica ferrule camping tool, and have been pleased with the quality. This crimping tool is equally well built. The jaws are well formed and give a strong, correctly formed crimp in insulated terminations. The ratcheting mechanism is helpful in holding the termination in the jaws gently, until you can insert the conductor. One thing that confuses me is the ad copy emphasizes that the jaws can be easily changed. And they are easy to remove. HOWEVER, for *this* model of crimper, there are no other dies that apparently fit this tool. Even going to the haisstronica Amazon Home page, or the haisstronica web site home, there is no evidence of other jaw dies for this tool. In fact, they do not even show this model of tool on their Amazon Home page. Looking at the other tools, the jaw locking mechanism is different for this tool, so the other jaws are not compatible. Since I do a fair amount of solar PV panel work, Iâd like to just change jaws, not buy an entirely new tool. The âgearshift knobâ does provide a greater closure of the jaws resulting in a tighter crimp. I found the number â2â setting to be adequate for most work.I really like the haisstronica line of crimpers, they are well built, and affordable. However, I am disappointed in the lack of additional jaws for this crimper.

Great tool for heatshrink terminals , no damage- full contact connections. Color coded
Update- i didnt notice at first vut i think you may be able to get different head sets for this tool! They release from the handle – I hope this is true – I would actually love a set of heads for multiple terminal types – on one handle ! Push button to pull , push button to replace. See last 2 pic .Excellent tool. Ratcheting with release. Ordered the heat shrink version. I appreciate the color dots and gauge info on the tool under each size which really let’s me go on auto pilot. Just match connector color to color and go . I wonder often how many people really KNOW there are different crimp tools for different types of connectors…. I do alot of electronics and electrical repairs across a wide variety of applications and I often think – We ain’t many 𤠖 The crimper you use should never pierce , mutilate, crack or otherwise deform the connector or cover. if they do your using the wrong toolsð Also the right crimper for the connector will ensure full contact with the involved wire terminal resulting in less heat, less chance for bad connection , and overall longer service. Its more than worth the time /effort/money.. to have perfect connections everytime and not wind up with someone else troubleshooting and repairing the resulting mess;) . I love the tool -even if heatshrink connectors are not my favorite. They are great for many things – just not most of the places I find them. I sometimes use them for repairs when the complimentary terminal is already in place and nit the issue – to keep time and cost down. Recommend this tool for anyone using heatshrink spade / butt connectors. The tool has the proper interface, and pressure to avoid the most common issues I see in owner diy connections. Issue that lead to poor connection , short to ground , hot wires etc – there is NO use in damaged heatshrink. Bonus tip -offset your connectors so they don’t all end up in a snarled bushel in the same exact spot. If you WANT A better way I recommend DT connectors .

Nice design, but cannot purchase other jaws
I like the design of this tool with quick change jaws and a dial to set the pressure. Overall, a well built tool. What is disappointing is that they designed a quick change jaws so you can use it for different applications, but I can not find a way to purchase just the jaws. Either you purchase a complete kit with multiple jaws, or you purchase a complete tool for each application. Why have interchangeable jaws if you can’t buy them separately from the tool?

Really like the look and feel
I really like the look and feel of this crimper. It feels pretty pro but at a fairly affordable price. Feels like a precise and even squeeze with a nice fairly fine-grained ratchet. The colored dots on the die mine came with match the standard terminal colors for the respective sizes which is a nice little touch. The front die plates are in very well but still easy to pop out with some quick-release tabs on the edges. I wish it had come with a full set but looks like others are available at a fairly reasonable price over under the B0F1ZWKSR7 listing which is nice and might be worth picking up as the main tool body is a keeper.

From 22 to 10 AWGâThis is an Excellent Crimper
The Haisstronica crimping tool is a well-engineered piece of hardware designed specifically for heat shrink wire connectors. I picked it up for a few minor electrical projects around the house, and so far, it looks like itâll earn its keep.Construction-wise, itâs no flimsy import. The tool is made of heavy-duty metal that feels like it could survive a drop from a ladderâor a mild existential crisis. The handgrips are ergonomic enough to keep your palms from plotting revenge, and the ratcheting mechanism with quick release is a thoughtful touch. It ensures a complete, consistent crimp every time, and lets you open the jaws mid-cycle if you need to bail out early. The jaws support the American Wire Gauge (AWG) standard, covering a range from 10 to 22. Color-coded dots make it easy to match wire sizes:⢠Red: 22â18 AWG⢠Blue: 16â14 AWG⢠Yellow: 12â10 AWGThe jaws are also interchangeable, which means you can easily swap them out for different gauge sizes. Add to that a six-gear adjustment for crimping force, and youâve got a tool thatâs not just functionalâitâs customizable.Bottom line: This crimper feels like it was designed by someone whoâs actually used one. Itâs sturdy, smart, and ready to bite down on your next wiring job.
