Best temporary coffee shop investment ever.
From Kitchen Chaos to Coffee Bar Bliss âð§Weâre in the middle of a kitchen remodel (aka: living in organized chaos), and this stainless steel table has been a total lifesaver. Instead of balancing the coffee maker on random boxes, we set up this 24×48 beast as a temporary coffee bar â and it works like a charm!The backsplash keeps everything neat (no rogue coffee splashes on the wall), and the stainless steel surface is sturdy enough to hold all the essentials â machine, mugs, syrups, and probably enough K-cups to survive football season. Cleanup is a breeze, which is crucial when youâre running on caffeine and drywall dust.It might be labeled a âcommercial prep table,â but right now, itâs the star of my makeshift café. Once the remodelâs done, itâll head to the garage for project duty⦠but for now, itâs keeping us caffeinated and sane.

Almost Excellent…
This is a very good example of a stainless steel work table that is sooo close to excellent… The weight (thickness) of the metal is quite adequate for it’s use – food prep, gardening worktable, or light mechanical work (i.e.: mechanical “clean work” table – like carburetor overhaul, motor rewinding, or other tasks requiring a clean work surface). The assembly is too easy – and 4 extra set screws are included for those of us who are prone to losing little bits during assembly – this thing almost falls together. Really, assembly took me all of maybe 10 minutes. Removing the protective plastic film took almost as long but revealed a nice easy-to-clean stainless finish. The bottom shelf is infinitely adjustable for whatever purpose you chose to apply to it and the 4 legs all have adjustable feet to allow for precise levelling.That is the good.Now the problematic:This table will likely satisfy the OSHA safety people as long as it is placed against a wall. If it is used “free standing” then there will be a problem with the corners of the backsplash and the sides: they are simple square corners and fairly sharp – in a busy kitchen environment this could be problematic as someone could rush past this table, miscalculate their distance from it, and strike a swinging hand or hip into one of those sharp corners causing an injury. You may chuckle but I have attended such “accidental injuries” and they DO happen and they DO end up being very expensive for the employer! This table, if it is to be used “free standing” rather than placed against a wall, has a total of 4 corners that will need to be radiused (rounded) for safety – not a big deal for a good maintenance worker, but an extra step needed to put this table into service.Finally, there was some damage that occurred during shipping. I know we are not supposed to mention this sort of thing, but the packaging for this table was only adequate and the shippers will generally have a field day with a heavier item such as this. That means they will tend to “throw it around” a bit in shipping… And this one was tossed around a bit: the box arrived intact, but the table top had clearly moved around in the box during shipment and the backsplash was bent and required straightening before assembly. Not a big deal, but again, an extra step for your maintenance person tasked with assembling this item. Also, though there was no obvious damage to the outer box packaging, there is a ding/dent in the tabletop surface that, while not any impediment to the final use of the table, detracts from its otherwise very nice clean look. I suppose I could have taken my body hammers and tapped out the dent (and I may still do so) but, really? The dents are supposed to happen after delivery, not before…Anyway, I like this table, and it pains me to ding it a couple of stars, it is just a little short for the needed rounding of the backsplash and rear table edge corners for safety and for the avoidable repairs to shipping damage that slightly improved packaging would have allowed.

Stainless Steel Table
This table is 4 ft long x 2 wide x 34 inches high, with a 2″ backsplash, and an adjustable bottom shelf.Assembly was fairly simple. It only took me about 15 minutes. I done this outside on make shift work bench, so that I had plenty of space. The hardest part was removing the protective film, but I’ve done this a few other times, so it gets easier with experience. With a sharpie, I marked each leg the height I wanted the shelf. I choose to put the shelf at 16″ high, because I wanted to be able to fit 5 gallon buckets beneath it. Then you slide the legs into to shelf holes, and secure the legs with set-screws. Then you attach that to the table top, and secure the legs with set-screws. There are 16 set screws total that you’ll need to tighten. 2 for each joint. It came with 4 extra set-screws. The cheaper tables will only have 8 set-screws.Overall, this high quality stainless steel table. What I love is that it has leveling feet, that easily unscrew. This helps make is super sturdy. Recommended.

Solid workstation
This is a well made and built workstation. The stainless steel is a good gauge metal. The legs provide a sturdy table and the shelf is handy for keeping items. I like the built in back splash lip so water or other liquids wont spill off the back. You do have to put this workstation together but it is really simple as it is connecting the legs and shelf to the table top. The legs have adjustable feet to level it out and you can also adjust the bottom shelf. Simple solid 18 gauge stainless steel durable workstation.

Next duty, but arrived damaged
Nice heavy duty prep table…. But came pretty bent up! The outside box looked undamaged, mostly. The lip at the back of the table top was pretty mangled, as was one side of the tabletop. The bottom shelf along one entire edge had all kinds of compound bends.If you don’t mind pulling out a hammer and a few blocks of wood and maybe a wide jaw vice-grip pliers, and then banging the blocks against the metal to try to get rid of the dings, dents and bends, then this might be good for you. If you want a pristine-looking table for the price, you might want to look elsewhere.Yes, the table is perfectly functional, but it would have been nice to get one that had more styrofoam packing in the box.Also, the tabletop is a very shiny stainless, with a good gloss. The bottom shelf on the other have appears to be made of a different grade of stainless, or at least a totally different surface treatment. That shelf is less like a chrome and more of a dull, flat gray. The legs are somewhere in between in regards to finish. Not really shiny and not really matte, and they have visible seams running the length of each leg. You can’t feel the seam, but you can see it.I wouldn’t detract stars for the lack of the the following (as I knew it didn’t come with any), but it would have been nice to have an option for some locking casters.All in all nice table, but disappointed in how it came out of the box and how the shelves and legs don’t have the same finish.
