While the magnet worked fairly well, the umbrella is not meant for the wind. The first time I used this umbrella, within 5 minutes a breeze came and broke the umbrella. I can no longer open it fully, it barely opens. This was a huge waste of money, I thought for the price it would be decent, but it was not.
