Effective and real like owl decoy
I recently purchased this pack of two owl decoys to scare other animals that comes to my yard. These decoys are not only realistic but also highly effective at keeping small animals away from my backyard garden. The attention to detail in their design is impressive, with lifelike features and vibrant colors that make them look like real owls.Since placing them in my yard, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in squirrels, rabbits, and other critters nibbling on my plants. The decoys are lightweight yet sturdy. I also love it asthat they come in a pair .If you’re looking for an affordable and humane way to protect your garden, I highly recommend these owl decoys. They’re both functional and a charming addition to any outdoor space .

    Perfect size
These owl decoys are surprisingly effective! I was having trouble with birds constantly messing up my garden, but since I put these out, the problem has drastically decreased. They look pretty realistic, and the birds definitely seem to be avoiding the area. Easy to set up and a humane way to keep pests away. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with unwanted bird visitors!

    Helps keep the Woodpeckers away!
Got these to help keep the annoying Woodpecker off my metal chimney cap. So far it has only returned once. It was coming every morning before 7:00am. I would say that’s a win! It was making me CRAZY! Happy I purchased them. They are slightly smaller than I thought they would be. I have a pole in one and have it attached to the top of my fence with zip ties to give it some height (and it makes it VERY noticeable). Probably keeps them out of my neighbors yard too.

Owls are well crafted but dot not scare off nyc pigeons
Owls are fine… , they look great, their heads bobble. but they didn’t work for my situation. My problem: pigeons in my balcony garden, pooping and making a mess, and im tried if cleaning it daily.Proposed solution: buy owls to act as scarecrow (also tried spinny shiny objects in the past and those didnt work either) and move owls around. Results: pigeons did not stay away as expected.Thoughts:Maybe NYC / urban pigeons are too jaded with their air of “ whatevs, i dont care, i go wherever i want.” They continue to visit my balcony in packs and bother my planters despite the owl guards:-(They did not seem to care about the owls or even notice them. I move the owls every night so they are in diff places but no luck so far.

    Small parrot sized owls.
These owls are tiny!!!!!!!’ The hawks in my neighbors yard are way larger. The hawks have literally swooped in my backyard next to these little owls like there nothing. Birds are smart and these owls are not big enough for a normal size hawk. They are prolly 1/2 the size of a full sized owl. They don’t work. I live in a residential neighborhood and have never in the 15 years living here had hawks. These little owls do not scare them. The hawks are prolly laughing at my attempt. I have a Sox pound dog and they are preying. I would not trust these with your beloved pet or small child. Also they advertise a moving head 😂 it’s a tiny little piece of plastic that could potentially spin a tiny bit with wind. I have had them outside for over a week and there heads have not moved an inch. There video a pictures do not match the product you receive.

Bought these for my mom — she loves them!
I got this 2-pack of owl decoys for my mom because she absolutely loves fun and decorative things for the yard. She was so excited when she saw them! Not only do they look great in her garden, but they actually help keep birds and pests away. The rotating heads are a nice touch and make them look more realistic. Great gift for anyone who enjoys yard decor with a purpose!

    They work!
These owls work great for us to get rid of birds flying and nesting around our balconies. We just filled them with some rocks and they stay upright and the head swivels in the wind. There is a fin in the box that goes on them. Be careful you don’t throw it away unpacking. The owls are pretty realistic and at least our birds are staying away.

    Does not work with squirrels
One of the owls would not move in the wind, only by hand. I returned/exchanged and had the same result with the replacement. That said, my owls must have invited the squirrels over for a party because they ate tomatoes right in front of it, and that’s with me moving them around everyday! I do have a picture with a game cam of the squirrel with the tomato in his mouth but it was too grainy to post after zooming in…I’m giving 3 stars because they do look really good and I’m not having issues with birds, but then we never really have. I filled my owls with decomposed granite and they are pretty sturdy – did not get knocked over in 50+ mph storm winds but the squirrels did knock one of them off the fence at some point running past or over it.I just don’t get it. We have hickory nuts everywhere. A 250B gallon lake across the street. I even put out a dog bowl with water for the deer that these guys could have but they seem to like my tomatoes more than anything and I was really hoping the owls would work. Only the sight of humans or dogs seem to scare them off.

They were purchased to keep pigeons away. They work great. When the heads turn that keeps all the birds away. Thank You

Either pigeons are not afraid of owls anymore or they know these are fake. I guess it would be helpful if face change directions without depending on wind flow or emit owl’s natural sound intermittently.
