Amazing Tool
Until now, I had been using a mechanical (click type) torque wrench which I had to throw away as it started missing the click. I ruined a number of flare joints.I decided for a digital torque wrench and chose the Hilmor wrench. The biggest advantage over the âclickâ type wrench is that the Hilmor gives you visual and audio feedback through LEDs and bleeps when you are approaching the set torque which automatically makes you reduce the pulling force. The Hilmor is easy to use and very precise. I checked the calibration against a torque calibrator. It has a long handle which gives good leverage when compared to other digital torque wrenches on the market. It is of very sound construction and comes in a sturdy carrying box. The adjustable jaw provides a very good grip on the nut. It also has an anti-rotation edge preventing nut slipping.I will never go back to mechanical torque wrenches. If strongly recommend the Hilmor torque wrench above all others.

Useful in the trades
This is very useful in the hvac trade. My only complaint is that after a few weeks the paint will get rubbed off and the side markings both being black will be difficult tell the difference.

Great Tool!
It’s tempting to purchase others at a lower price when you don’t think you will be using it much, but this tool is worth the extra money, if your a DIY or even an contractor I think you will be very pleased with this tool.

Tool does not measureme foot pounds correctly
Product did not correctly give me the ft/ pounds . It broke an expensive HVAC copper line. Now I need to spend an extra 500 to buy a new copper line because of this defective Product.

Displays actual applied torque
This torque wrench is expensive, but worth the money. I think one of the bet features is that it displays the actual torque applied and does not just beep when it reaches the set torque. You can even use it to read the amount of torque it takes to loosen a bolt or nut.
