Highly recommend!
These are the best trash bags I have ever used. They are strong and thick. It takes a lot to puncture. I pack these bags to the brim and they still hold up. Iâve been purchasing Hippo Sak for years and I have only had two bags that werenât cut properly. I never have had to double up like other brands. Fits my 13gl rectangular trash can fine. I hope they continue to increase the recycled plastic content. Theyâre made in the USA!

Perfect trash bags
I love these bags! Usually Im disappointed in trash bags made from recycled materials, but these are fantastic. They are strong and it’s easy to tie them closed with the big handles.

I like that the bags are very roomy, and easily fit all sorts of trashcans without having to stretch.I like that they’re not transparent so you can’t see what’s in it (yuckiness).Especially important, when I place the full bags in the hallway, temporarily, while I do a turnover for my rental when guests leave and new guests arrive.My view is the ocean.Weekly I pick up trash at the beach, and see little plastic pieces coming out of the ocean.I like the notion that this plastic is recycled plastic OCEAN plastic.I see with my own eyes what lands in the ocean and comes out all the time.The quality of these bags is very high. Higher than the expensive bags available from the well-known brands.

Happy I switched
I’m very happy with this purchase. I was looking for a more environmentally friendly trash bag option that was still durable and this fit the bill. I had always used trash bags with a drawstring before so I was nervous I wouldn’t like the handles. I’ve been using these bags for months now and they are great. They are the strongest kitchen trash bags I’ve owned. The handles easily tie shut and are way more comfortable to carry than the stretched out drawstrings I was used to. It’ll probably be ages before I need to buy more, but when I do, I’ll be buying these again.

Pleasantly surprised
I was so happy I found this product since it was an eco-product as well as being American made. Again, I try to consciously purchase items that are either American made or eco whenever I can, but it’s even better when it’s both.I normally buy Hefty bags from my local stores. I came across this product by accident really and they have now become my go to trash liner. They are super sturdy and feel more substantial than the Hefty ones I used to buy. I have yet to have something poke through or damage the bag. Then entire bag is sturdy up to the handles. As I’m sure you’ve experience with the drawstring bags, like Hefty, when you lift the bag by the handles the plastic pulls almost to a breaking points stressing the overall bag. These do not do that. They handles are long enough to make sealing the bag a breeze. I put these in a tall trashcan and they fit perfect. Since they are also on the thicker side, the keep odors at bay as well. I cook quite a bit and I don’t have the trashcan smells from throwing away food scraps or food containers. These are my #1 item and I tell everyone I know about them because I love them so much.The only negative thing I can say, is that my dogs are disappointed they can’t nudge their noses into the closed bag before it goes outside to the trash bin.

Strong Downy scent
I love these bags especially being gray to match my house decor, but unfortunately this scent is very strong. They smell like Downy fabric softener, and because of that I don’t feel they are a true green organic source, meaning, I don’t feel good about breathing such a smell in. So I will be sending them back.If you don’t mind a strong Downy scent, then you’ll love these bags, they’re very nice and very durable. Love the handles, easy to tie.

Hippo Sak are the BEST Garbage Bags you can purchase! I have tried numerous brands and types, which either the handle ties broke or the bags broke. I have Never had any of these bags leak, tear or the handles rip or break. They are so much stronger and easier to lift out of the garbage cans also.I usually do not leave reviews and surprised I am over garbage bags but I can not say enough good things about these garbage bags! I used to stay frustrated with other bags because something always seemed to rip or tear. I honestly hope Hippo Sak never stops making these garbage bags because they have made my life easier and I never have to clean up from a bag ripping! The first time I pulled one out of the garbage can, I couldn’t believe the difference in how much easier they were to remove from the garbage can. You won’t be disappointed!! There is no promotion on me giving my feedback either. I am giving this review because I will never purchase any other type or brand of garbage bag after using these.Great Job Hippo Sak! I am an extremely satisfied customer! I would give you much higher than a5*+ if I could!

These are the best bags – I use them for laundry bags for the most part. My husband is a trucker so he just takes one of these in the truck for his dirty laundry and I send it back with clean laundry. Seems to last about 10 times back and forth. Hard to find and a little expensive but worth it.
