The Hisense 5.1 channel 510W soundbar system features a wireless subwoofer, surround speakers, Dolby Digital Plus, and HDMI eARC.
5.1 Surround Sound – 3 speakers built into the soundbar. Left and right front channel, center channel, plus two Tweeters, surround the listener in 3D audio for room-filling sound that delivers a true Cinema experience.
Whether you’re gaming, watching your favorite movie or show, or listening to that new track on repeat, Dolby Digital Plus and DTX Virtual:X enhances the entertainment you love across all your devices. It goes beyond ordinary listening by transporting you with the breakthrough spatial sound experience that draws you in deeper, so you hear and feel more.
Wireless 6.5″ Subwoofer – A wireless subwoofer delivers robust low-end frequencies that punctuate your favorite movies, music, and games, without any messy wires. You’ll feel the “boom” while the two front- facing speakers project bright, clear high and mid-range frequencies. The wireless module requires a power cord to function the Subwoofer.

Best Value 5.1 Soundbar Setup at This Price
For the price, this system is amazing. A soundbar-based 5.1 setup that works decently well, has solid output, and delivers decent bass. I haven’t stress tested it to the max since it easily fills my ~200 sqft room at about half volume, but at around 40–50% it performs really well. At this price point, I don’t think there are any competitors that can match the value per dollar for a simple surround sound setup. The only caveat I’ve noticed is that I wish Night Mode was its own separate setting. That way, I could use dynamic volume control alongside a preset EQ like News or Movie mode.Overall, the performance per dollar here is fantastic. It’s not on the level of a true 5.1 system, but considering even an entry-level dedicated 5.1 system will run you a few hundred dollars more, this Hisense R651 is hard to beat for the budget.

Best low cost high quality sound upgrade for Hisense smart TV
Bought this refurbished and was cautious when setting up. But it has been great so far. I paired it with a Hisense branded fire TV, though I’m using a new fire stick 4k max with the fire TV now. Tested the sound bar with the fire sticks Dolby digital sample audio/video loop (available in sound diagnostics menu), and rear speakers, subwoofer and front bar speakers sound really great. Huge upgrade to my Samsung T550 that was causing audio dropouts when using ARC/eARC. Before I thought it might be the TV, but with this sound bar I get clear audio, no dropouts, and 5.1 channels. The subwoofer connected automatically to the bar, which was nice. The rear speakers connect with long wires to the sub, which is fine for me, especially for the price.Absolutely no regrets with this purchase so far. Will update review if any problems arise later.

    Punches above its weight
For the value, it was surprisingly good! Not top notch by any means. But for a budget friendly soundbar, subwoofer and rear speakers makes it ideal for apartment living!

  4. Worst buy… Do not support nor buy product

    Not loud enough for 510watt
To be honest…. I can’t even give a star, I’m not saying the seller is bad… The brand isn’t worth having. 510 watt of what… The sound quality is low… Might say you get a lot from a cheaper price but we’re in 2025… Cheap things rival expensive things too but this… Nope…. It’s a great product but the volume is the only issue

    Good quality for the quantity
Love it I live in a real house so the volume is perfect. It’s not too loud and I can still have a loud but it’s not gonna disturb people.

Remember to hookup to the HDMI 1 port
Great sound quality and was a pretty easy setup. Works perfectly with my Hisense television.

Cordless? Or corded … my mistake
We’re sending it back as the wires don’t reach, should have considered a wireless set up. I’m sure it would work fine we just didn’t try it out since the cords were not long enough.
