Failed shortly after return window
I ordered this as it was less than half the price of going through the dealership. Right part, same model, just not a dealership manufactured one. Super quick and easy to install and it worked great for a few weeks and shortly after the return window closed it stopped working. Numerous mechanics warned me that unless you go through and get the MAS from the dealership, it wont work and unfortunately I didn’t listen. Don’t waste your time/money as a month or so after installing, you’ll be out needing to get another.

It fit (2018 Nissan Rogue S). It worked. It was a very easy install (which I know has far more to do with the car than the part). Turns out, it was my transmission that was really the problem, though it was also throwing codes for this MAFS.So, if you have a Nissan and are looking to replace your mass air flow sensor, simply click out of this window, go to the CarMax website or somewhere else that will buy your car, sell it for whatever you can get for it, and go buy a car that doesnât burn up a transmission in less than 75k easy-riding miles (seriously, I drive like a little old lady and do all the regular maintenance). If I canât convince you to do that, this MAFS worked fine for me and will probably do so for you too… until something way more expensive breaks, anyway.

Received code isolating MAF sensor as not working â¦.was cleaned and worked â¦months later repeat but would not clear engine light â¦.ordered this Hitachi model that stated it would fit my 2017 Nissan Maxima and had two scars in plastic top and faint oil finger print on box. Fit but did not workâ¦.returned it â¦.unsure if defective or not right for my maximaâ¦.ordering more expensive Nissan replacement part
