Excellent for curved mantle
Our mantle is 3+1/2″ thick and has a rounded front that extends 3/4″ from top edge. Most stocking holders are unsafe with this curved front. I found some that curve back underneath, but they only extend back about 1″, which is only 1/4″ back from the actual top edge (not safe). These simple, inexpensive, hooks do the job.Based on the pics, I was expecting them to be pretty ugly. While they are not beautiful, they’re not ugly either. They exceeded my expectations. With other things on the mantle, these are pretty unobtrusive. The clear plastic hook is triangular in shape and acts a bit like a prism. They look almost silver in light. The plastic is fairly strong. I attached an 8 lb weight, and the hook held well. I wasn’t super confident with that weight, but 5 lbs should be no problem.I can’t speak to longevity. Plastic fatigue might be a problem. However, giving these 5 stars. Simple, inexpensive, functional.Pics: 1 showing 8 lb weight. 2 side pics (one with weight and one with empty stocking)

Stood up to Hurricane Milton!
I bought these soffit clips in June 2023 to put up red, white and blue lights around the edge of my roof for July 4th. The clips are very easy to put on and grip the soffit solidly. The clips I had before didn’t really fit correctly. These clips roll open and will pretty much fit any type of soffit. I left those lights up until end of August when I replaced them with orange lights for Fall and Halloween. Hurricane Milton came in early October. I decided to leave the lights up because there was so much more to do to get ready. After being in the Florida sun and weather for FOUR months, these clips held up through Hurricane Milton. Only two clips broke. I cannot recommend them enough!

Works great — most of the time
Being a little OCD, it was driving me crazy to put Christmas lights in my windows that weren’t straight. I hung them with Command clips, so the wire was pretty straight, but the wire, being twisted, would just let the lights go all over the place and it didn’t look right (see photo of my window. The left side had the lights hung with the hooks). So I went in search of suction cups that would hold each individual light where I wanted it. Enter this product. You can see in the picture that instead of using the clip to hold the wire, I put it on the individual light. from the outside, they were all lined up nicely (right side of the window). It made me happy. The only “negative” is that not all of the suction cups stayed put during the Christmas season. Some came loose. Some didn’t hold the light correctly. I’m okay with that because overall, it looked good, and I know the clips weren’t made to hold the lights. I just wish someone would manufacture something that would hold well, with a clip that’s MEANT to hold the individual lights (hint, hint). Maybe not hold the light bulb, but the light “fixture.” Anyway, this worked really well for the money. I’ll buy another pack for my Halloween lights.

Christmas Hooks
I buy these every year to hang my Christmas lights on my roof top. They do the job and hold tight all season long. My lights stay up from beginning of November all the way through January.

These fit my gutters perfectly
Okay, let me set the scene for this review. I’m nearly 60 years old, and I could care less if I ever put Christmas lights up on the house again. But there’s a wife here, and if mama ain’t happy . . . you know the rest.So I had gutters installed across the front of my house recently, and I thought I would get some gutter clips and try hanging the lights that way for a change. If I gotta do a job that is sometimes less than pleasant, I want the job to go easily. I picked up a bag of clips from Target, but for some reason they wouldn’t snap down completely on my gutters. Not sure why. Maybe those are made for a standard type of gutter and mine are different. Those clips went back to Target. The Amazon reviews for these clips got my attention, and the price was right so I decided to try them. It seems kinda funny to be leaving a review about something as mundane as this, but my feelings were a bit more congenial when I was standing on top of the ladder. LOLThese clips really work well. The twisted end of the clip appears to be a good match for most rain gutter types. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these went up, and I grabbed a couple of pics to demonstrate. If you’re looking to make fast work of your Christmas lights, invest in a bag or two. You’ll thank me.
