I have a four legged escape artist that Iâm finally able to keep safely locked in! You wouldnât believe this pupâs ability to get in and out of places! Windows have to be locked (not just closed, LOCKED), and he knows how to unlock and open all sorts of doors. I initially bought a latch that was glued to the door and it didnât take him long to rip it off. Then I tried a latch similar to the ones in hotels but it didnât work in my door because the frame isnât exactly flat with the door, it comes up a fraction of an inch. This lock reinforcement saved the day! Easy to install and to use, it should keep children and pets in and intruders out. With holes for four screws itâs very sturdy and reliable. Big fan!

Can be dofficult to open but great for childproofing
These are the absolute best for childproofing. They are so good that not even my 7 year old can open it. Thats the only downside though, they can be a bit tricky to open. Im still really happy with them because I know my kids are safe and cant open the door without me knowing. I bought these for both front and back door. I also love that this provides extra protection in case of a break in.

Works great.The ONLY con (maybe) would be that if you set the lock, then push on the door afterwards or someone tries to open the door, the lock is very hard to unlock. You actually have to press against the door, to unlock the lock with ease.
