Good quality castors
Nice wheels and fit well. You can screw them in all the way or leave it a little out to even out the shel if need be. Easy to install, seems pretty heavy duty for most household needs.

Good little casters
I used these casters for some steel pipe shelving. They were just what I needed. The casters came with a flat little end wrench that worked well for snugging the caster bolts into the bottom of the shelf tubes. There isn’t enough clearance for a regular end wrench.The only trick is to match the threads on the caster bolts with threaded holes that they will go into. I found a bolt that threaded into the bottom of my shelving. Then held the bolt up to a ruler to measure its width and thread count per inch.

PROS: being so large, these casters roll very well. simple to install, just screw them into the shelving legs. tiny little wrench is included to make install quicker. the whole unit rolls easily.CONS: the lock!!! i HATE those locks; in fact, i only buy locking casters that lock both the wheel and the swivel, and you lock them by stepping on a lever with your foot. these are VERY difficult to lock in place, and even harder to unlock. i ended up just putting a rug under 2 wheels to hold the shelves steady.i’d rather pay more for better locking swivels, but at least these fit. i have 6′ shelving between my washer and a wall and with these shelves on casters, i can pull the whole unit out to reach things i don’t use often. if you dont mind the cheezy lock on the casters, i’d recommend this set.

Great for making your shelving mobile
I like these sturdy, threaded 4″ caster roller wheels that easily screw into the bottom of wire shelving unit poles. I have bought these caster wheels 6 times so far–every time I get a new wire shelving unit.I have multiple wire shelving units in the house and garage and all of them are mobile. It’s much easier to vacuum or wash the floor if you can move the shelving out of the way. Also, if you don’t have a lot of space, mobile shelving can make your life easier since you can place the shelving units close together and just pull out the one you need. In the house, I have one mobile shelving unit for my small kitchen appliances–vacuum sealer, mixer, dehydrator, air fryer, crockpot, and baking pans and another for canned goods, cereals, crackers, condiments, jelly, etc. In the garage, I use one shelving unit to store holiday lights and decorations, and another for my tool box, drill, painting supplies, gardening implements, etc. I also hang S-hooks off my mobile wire shelving units to hold my leaf blower and weed whacker.

Perfect Mobility Solution for Steel Shelving
Used with 5 shelf steel shelving unit made by the same company. Instantly made stationary shelving mobile for cleaning under / behind them or allowing ready access to items in storage units or other areas where space is constrained and access might otherwise be limited. I was able to add these casters with little effort (everything needed was included). Afterward, I loaded up the shelving unit with items and easily wheeled the stocked unit to my storage unit with limited effort. Just be sure to match the correct size caster with the appropriate shelving unit so that the diameter of holes in shelving unit poles and threaded posts that screw in to attach the wheels to the shelving unit are of compatible diameter so that they align. Be sure that the caster is the appropriate size for the unit’s weight bearing capacity. Once in place, two of the wheels can be locked if needed. This is likely to be very handy if floors are not perfectly level or when moving in future as the entire unit can be rolled onto a (larger) moving truck and secured (with both wheel locks and appropriate placement of straps). These shelving units were previously used primarily in garages and basements but have become widely accepted in kitchen and living areas with the advent of contemporary “industrial design” decor. You can even buy shelf coverings of plastic or wood to allow for flat surfaces and keep items balanced and / or from falling through the spaces between the rods that form the base of each shelf. If you didn’t initially recognize the benefit of casters and you did not buy a wheeled shelving unit initially — this is the fix!

I got my set for $25 … I have owned these for over a year and a half now…These casters can be used for anything not just the shelving. The quality is great, smooth solid wheels, supports a lot of weight without breaking or flaking. 2 of the wheels have a locking mechanism which is great… I am very happy with this product!

I bought these some time ago to use on a 4-shelf chrome rack from the tire store but never got around to unloading the rack to install them. This past week I bought some Trinity Bronze 4-shelf racks from the big box membership store, deciding to turn two racks into three racks using the inner rods to support the middle ‘rack’. So instead of 3 separate racks using 12 uprights, I have one long joined rack using 8 uprights. That left me with f4 unused uprights and 2 shelves leftover. I decided to do a half height rack, and discovered these wheels fit the uprights. While installing the wheels, whilst taking it easy on my recliner, the entire thing slid back giving me a table . Eureka! Grandpa has a table for his recliner. Slides right under. It’s a tad wobbly with the trays both at the 24-28″ height but it works great. And far cheaper than anthing I’ve been seeing.
