Easy to set up and programmable friendly
Assembly was easy and programming was pretty simple. We bought this to be able to feed our girls while weâre away on weekends. ( we have plenty of litter boxes, fyi). You have to play with the portion size to get what is right for your pets, but so far, itâs a good investment and works well. I like that you can program the amount of food dispensed and the feeding times. Works great so far! Would recommend

100000/10 I swear I love this thingIâm not a bot I swear lol, I just seriously love this thing. I have two cats, and while Iâm away especially, this is helpful. I have the feeder set for 3 meals a day and you can change the amount of food that comes out. And the feeding time can be any time you want. For two cats I do have to fill it every 14 days, only 2 times a month not bad.

Fails at Main Job of Dispensing Food.
I rarely give poor reviews. But – the main job of this feeder is to feed. However, it gets clogged easily. And we use hard food it is not soft food. Then, when it dispenses, hardly any food comes out. We were wondering why our cats seemed hungry all the time. Even at the 6x setting (it goes from 1-24) only a few nuggets were coming out. After over a month of use and cleaning out dispenser daily, it’s now in our garbage can. It is well made and settings/ electronics are high quality and easy to use and flexible, but if the main job is to dispense food and it fails then what is the use?

Got it so the cats would stop waking me up at 4 am to feed them. They still wake me up but at least I don’t have to get out of bed.UI is fairly simple, build quality is solid. Stainless steel bowls helps prevent chin acne.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wish it would give me some notification that it was getting low but other than that it does what it needs to do. Will be upgrading at a later date. The directions are a bit confusing

I recently adopted a small cat with feeding problems.She wolfs down everything you give her and promptly upchucks it.So i have been only giving her small amounts of food several times per day.NOT convenient!The Honeyguaridan A36 solves this problem nicely.I have spaced out her feedings throughout the day and night and…. IT”S WORKING!Had a little trouble withe settings at first but I soon figured that out, and now we’re all happy.(Read the directions, and follow then to the letter.The military time setting works best, but you can do it either way.The little kibble burner is adapting nicely to this routine and I get to sleep in a bit more.Very glad I found this unit. I’m one of those people who research things to death before I buy, and this unit won out.I don’t need all the WiFi and cameras, bells and whistles, just an affordable , reliable unit that is well designed and does what I need.I like the recording feature too.I like the stainless steel bowl, the appearance, the fact that you so much control over the amounts dispensed, the battery backup, and judging by the reviews I have read (I haven’t had it very long), the reliability of the unit.

Overall, this feeder has been very reliable and is doing a great job. We use this pet feeder for our cat and must give him precise amounts of food to maintain his weight. This machine is able to provide very precise amounts of food with confidence.The design allows easy cleaning and the stainless steel bowl is a bonus. Our cat would not eat from a plastic bowl because the plastic will develop a smell after time. Most other feeders come with a plastic bowl.One feature I found strange and thought was a bug is… When the power cuts off and comes back on, the feeder will automatically dispense a serving of food. So hypothetically, if the power went off a few times in a day, a bunch of food will be dispensed outside of your set schedule. I found this strange and I think it should be fixed.The food schedules are slightly difficult and tedious to set initially, but once you set it up you most likely won’t touch it again.I would recommend this feeder as it is considerably better than one that I bought from Pet Smart.

It’s working really, really well. I’m impressed. It looks really nice and modern and I’m very happy with it. I had a previous feeder for more than a decade and it was prone to random feedings and made me paranoid about missed feedings, but thankfully haven’t experienced that with this. Portion sizes seem accurate with each meal, but I’m using the splitter (purchased separately) into two bowls so it’s hard to compare.My slight concerns are as follows:- The food hopper window is very small, I can’t see food in there. If you don’t want to see the food, this is great, but I’d rather see the food so a fully translucent hopper would have been my preference. They try to address this with a blue light that turns on in the hopper, but I only notice it at night when the kitchen lights are off, so they could miss some meals during that day. Since the same amount of food is going out each week, you can address this by adding new food on a weekly schedule (ie every Sunday)- The controls are a bit dated looking and clunky, but looking at the pictures, I was expect it. It’s honestly not so bad in use. Having individual buttons is super useful and an improvement over my previous feeder, but there is no way to go down when changing values, only up, so you have to hold the buttons and watch them count up and let go before you get there, other wise you’re going to need to do it all over again. Not a big deal for hours, but for minutes and portions (48!) it’s annoying. This is only an issue during initial set up and tweaking. Once your schedule is good, it’s no longer a problem.I’m loving the 6 feeding times supported. My previous feeder only did 3. Now I space the food through the day. One of my kittens is content to leave food in the bowl which the other would immediately devour. The auto feeder is not only convenient but should keep the other one from being over weight.

We got this for our cat because he was eating his kibble way too quickly.I found the instruction booklet very helpful, so make sure you read it!It has been pretty accurate so far and make sure to measure the first few attempts (there’s a button for manual feeding). 1 portion of kibble is roughly 7 grams for me so I need 6 portions and split it into 3 meal times. It has helped that my kitty can always have food throughout the day. He usually gobbles the whole thing before noon (we free feed him)! He wasn’t like this before surgery. We have also tried slow feeders and that did not help at all.We have tried the voice recorder and decided not to use it since it repeats about 3-4 times.2 things I dislike:How difficult it is to clean the compartment that holds the kibble. You may need to unscrew it (we did). But it was easy to screw it back together.How there’s only 1 bowl. So you need to clean it at night before the feeding in the morning. I might need to buy another bowl because there are days when I can’t clean the bowl. It’s good practice to wash it since kibble makes the bowl oily.Overall, it is a good auto feeder, it was easy to install and to use!

WAIT!!! Before you buy, please read this:Our cats have figured out how to use the feeder and dispense food at their own will. If they put their paws on the front of the top of the feeder, the sensor picks up on the pressure and spits out a full serving. We have tried to put items on the top of the feeder – as suggested by the manufacturer, by the way – but the cats just keep knocking them off.Also important to note that we have placed batteries inside the unit in case the power does go out, but if there is even so much a fluctuation or a brown out, the feeder will dispense food. So now, the cats get food when they want it, when the batteries kick in, and again when the AC power comes back on!The unit is extremely difficult to program. We highly recommend watching YouTube videos and setting at least 1 hour aside for this.Please don’t think this is all a negative review. The unit is beautiful and feeds our cats. Unfortunately, that’s about all the good I have to say about it.
