Good Velcro.
Perfect Velcro. Although, I wouldn’t hang a picture with it. That seems like using an actual item made to hang pictures from would be prudent. I consider Velcro to be used just to keep something together that has very little force working on it. Like a drawer that keeps opening on a desk because the floor isn’t perfectly flat. Basically keeps things together that will fall apart when at rest. Like holding a drawer closed because it wasn’t built right and tends to just roll open. My wife thinks it’s ugly using Velcro, but there’s usually a way to apply it while keeping it mostly hidden. It’s so hard to please everyone. 5 stars!

Useful and versatile
I ordered the Hook and Loop Tape 1in x 20ft, Heavy Duty Adhesion Strip, Slef Adhesive Interlocking Tape, and I’m happy with it. Out of all the things I have in the home, double stick tape is some of the most useful and versatile items that I’ve ever had. I have all different types, and I do have some like this that are the same material in circle tabs. I usually refer to this type of material as a certain name, but I realize that’s actually a brand name not the type of connective material. I would say in general every month I feel like I need to remedy a situation multiple times, and I remember I have double stick tape to achieve what I need. It’s unbelievable what I have used these types of things for. There are two rolls of this. You just can clean off the surface with rubbing alcohol (or not) then place some tape. I have found it is much easier with this type of tape where you have two strips to connect each other to place one where you want it such as on the floor or wall. Then take the other piece and connect it as it would be with the adhesive side up. Then I placed whatever I’m going to connect it to on top of that. This way gives me full control where I can match the strips perfectly, because If I don’t and I need to remove it and put it on something again, it’s not as sticky as the first time. Then with any types of these types I would wait a day to make them work so the adhesive can stick well. Sometimes I will clamp them together or put something really heavy on top. I have noticed certain climates are not as helpful for it such as applying it when it’s really cold out. When it’s warmer, the tape is more tacky, and it definitely makes a difference on the very first and initial application regarding temperature. I do feel this type is strong, and I use it for many things. However, there are stronger types that are great for all weather situations. My favorite is the thick, squishy, clear tape that can be reused. I even used that to hang solar lights outside on fixtures, and they’ve all been holding up for months even on wood. With this particular one, the first thing I did was modify some thigh-high boot that were too tall. I folded the tops down within the boot, and then I held them down with this tape. The tape would only touch the inside of the boot so I wasn’t worried about it, and now the boots are the perfect length, and I can’t even tell that I modified them. Once you have these types of tapes in the home, you may realize how useful they are. When people are talking about life hacks, examples are endless with this. Overall, it’s easy and effortless with a good adhesive, but there are stronger or weaker ones out there, thank you.
