Awesome Way to Compost!!
I received my hoop today and Iâm so excited about it! Iâve been looking for an alternative to having the bin on the counter which takes up too much space. Having the hoop in the trash can makes so much sense as itâs out of the way and there is no smell. Overall it looks well made and had a nifty instruction card to explain everything. Bag wrapping takes a second to figure out but once I learned how to do it itâs easy to repeat and holds very strongly. This is definitely a game changer for composting at home!!!

Good concept, but design could stand some small improvements
The hanger is a relatively simple fold-out design and gives a convenient location to stash compostable food scraps while still in the midst on doing prep. There are a couple small tedious details though. The adjuster screws for getting a snug fit to the cabinet edge are very flat and hard to grip for loosening or tightening. The screws also tend to slowly loosen even after getting them as tight as it seems possible. As for securing the compostable bags, there are no clips, just some hook-like frame parts and it takes a bit of overlap (and therefore lost bag space) to get enough of the bag material to fully secure it around the rim. The bags themselves are pretty good compostable bags though and hold up to being using in a bottomless holder with at least one round of meal prep scraps.

These are good quality compost bags, and the hoop assembly makes it convenient to use them in a trash can. You don’t have to be fumbling around to keep the bag open when you are emptying food into it.
