Great security
I absolutely love this smart doorknob, it is perfect for my front door. Especially since I rent, I don’t have to worry when workers are coming to my home. I can unlock the door from the app and know when they are at my home.

easy to install
I feel it is a bit pricey for an entry level smart lock at $120 even with 20$ off. With that said:Everything you come to expect from an entry level keyless fingerprint, code enabled plus fob deadbolt system is included in this package . Installation was straightforward and setting up was again just to straightforward.A new job required the home office be locked with an interior camera monitoring system due to the sensitive data so we chose to go with a keyless entry system as we’ve installed them on our other doors and we like them. This one is very nice as the app lets you verify you locked the door when you are not home so that is a nice added piece of mind.I noticed that one commentator where it was disappointed that this lock could not be rekeyed to match his other keys but it does come with three standard Keys which are easy to reproduce for a three or four bucks a piece at a big box store and my question is why would you need to worry about that except in a dire emergency? If everything failed: not only the electronics the AA batteries coupled with your inability to get a USB-C power port to enable it then you would need the key. My feeling is put it on the keychain put a mark on it and forget about it but that’s me, however I do agree with him that it is a little bit on the less rugged side of the spectrum.It works well and so far no issues and only you the individual buyer can determine whether you feel it secure enough; as with any lock if somebody wants in they’re going to make it happen.

This works but it is kind of a pain. It is finicky about opening with my fingerprint no matter how many times i mess with it. The other options have been working okay. Overall It is just okay but could use some improvements.

Great luck for a great value
This lock is well designed and functional. It is easy to use and easy to install. It has a lot of functionality including being able to give people a one-time code for deliveries, for example. It is also a lot less money than the ones that you would find at the hardware store, with similar quality and functionality.

Good lock but get another model if you are integrating with Home Assistant
I ordered this because I had recently bought another Hornbill lock set and it integrated perfectly using TTLock with Home Asssitant, however THIS product is NOT that lock. If you are looking for good integration into Home Assistant then don’t buy this model.Models A4-BF and Y4-BF (includes this product) use SmartLife app which is easy enough to use but integrating with Tuya into your HA gives you no control. Sure you can use Google and do all kind of weird stuff but just order the model M3-DF to make it easier.Now, for those of you NOT using HA this is a good lock and it is picked up easily by the SmartLife App and the gateway installation is also done via SmartLife. I did get a few glitches in making it shut but once I put the included G2 Gateway on it then it works a lot better. You have to put the gateway under 20 feet for best results.The lock can store 100 fingerprints and it reads easily and fast. It is so good at reading fingerprints that I did not even make up codes, give out the keys, or use the 2 RFID tags that they include. You can also set temporary codes which is great if you have the gateway installed and can set a 1 time use for someone checking in on your home while you are gone.The only work I had to do is make my deadbolt hole a lot deeper than it was and the plate for it a little bigger. These deadbolts like really going into the wall deep.Overall, this is a 4 star lock if you are wanting a remote door lock that you can open numerous ways. The materials are good and the customer support is great. This is a 3 star if you are integrating in Home Assistant – get another lock to save some headaches.

Really good and multifunctional door lock!
Really like this product! The install was straight forward and extremely easy. Very little tools are required, depending on what handle was there previously. I really like all the entry options this lock provides. Ive used the included key fob the most. The key fob is small and easy to use and I liked that it’s not large and clunky. The fingerprint reader works well also! Lastly the combo function is very easy and strait forward. Also the app is easy and straightforward to use.

Cheap and hub implementation is not great
Kids toy, not worthy of the price point. If it was maybe $20 I could see using it as non-entry point lock, like a guest suite or off limits closet. I would not trust a main entry point with this.Pros:- packed with features, probably cheapest lock with fingerprint access.- nice colorCons:- Doesn’t feel solid like a Schlage or even a kwikset.- When manually engaging the deadbolt, I can feel it pushing the motor. feels like pushing the cheap plastic gears on an RC car. Seems like something that can break easily. I’ve had other smart locks that don’t feel like this.- No way to re-key according to documentation- Alexa and App usage requires a gateway that needs to be usb powered and located less than 16′ from the lock. what!? NO, WHY? this is not convenient at all. it’s 2024, build this functionality into the unit.-

Was a complicated install and when it was finally set up, it had to be reset twice before it would work. I have been locked out a few times by this and needed to reset it again. Kind of a pain if you askMe but the flip side is never having to worry about having your keys
