Great Printer! Love it!
This HP Envy printer is AMAZING! I waited to write this review until I’d had some experience using it (2 months). I use it almost every day. It’s been very reliable, prints quickly, color quality is very good and I’m quite satisfied with its performance. The printer is not super heavy or bulky, so it’s easy to move from place to place if necessary. Instructions for set up where clear and concise. This printer is definitely worth every penny (or nickel now) and I highly recommend it for your printing needs.

Great printer, but do read the review about support
The printer was purchased for my wife to use with her business. She had issues and simply would not use it; she kept going back to an older HP Printer that had its own set of issues but printed better than this. So, there were a small number of print jobs on it when I decided to see what was going on. I should have done this sooner. I saw that there were serious print issues that I could not resolve. So, I contacted HP Support, and they went through things with me. In the end, they shipped a replacement printer. All is well with the replacement printer. Excellent print quality, and scan quality. All is well and I highly recommend, as always, HP Printers. The most important feature of a purchase is support, and I must say that HP excelled in this area.

You will hate the required ink subscription
This is the worst printer I have ever purchased. The first thing to know is it only will use HP Instant Ink. The cartridges are chipped . I cancelled the Instant Ink and I purchased another set of cartridges only to have to return them because they would not work and it was said that they were compatible and would work . The Instant Ink cartridges that I still had were practically full. They would not work after I cancelled the plan. They actually requested that I return them, I had paid for them, I threw them out. The printer itself is not without fault. It is only 7 months old and started to not work. I would have to unplug it from the outlet and restart it several times to get it to run. It’s slow, but then it is only an inkjet. Needless to say, it’s now not returnable. So, it sits on my desk unused. I purchased a laserjet printer for half the price this week. It’s great. No special ink subscription required, it’s fast, and does a great job. It is an HP though, so we will see how this goes. If it goes haywire on me, I will never buy an HP printer again. It will be back to Brothers for me.

Great Printer – Beware of HP”s “shakedown” via In$tant ink program.
It’s a great printer. Has some great functions and would be a 5 star purchase, but the greedy folks at HP will shake you down for all kinds of $$ and it’s likely anyone (like myself) reading the terms of their super great In$tant ink program would say “wow, that’s cool” and sign up for it . Read it carefully.I started noticing charges beyond the $5 a month from HP on the card I used… went and logged in to the app, well how about that… you only get so many pages per month allowed, then it’s like 10 cents a sheet printed… They don’t make this exactly clear when you sign up to let them get in your pocket . i read over the In$tant ink agreement, and did not understand by choosing the level of service I chose, your only allowed X amount of sheets printed… It asks estimate you print usage, I clicked ehh …10 pages thinking well, most of the time, that would be my guess… thinking well, $5 bucks or so a month for a year would cover the cartridge replacement cost when they ran dry, but it wasn’t spelled out anywhere clearly in that agreement (it may now, I got this thing last year) and after printing a huge manual for work and being billed per page, I dropped that In$tant ink BS and went and got regular cartridges (which were not cheap). Also, the unit has to be “on” and connected all times to HP via wi-fi to monitor usage and cartridge certification verification (firmware reads what’s going on with all aspects of your printer). They also kept spamming me in e-mail to re-join the awesome shakedown program and join the In$tant paper thing since I printed that shop manual one time. I can only imagine how they will dig in your pocket for that business.Bottom line, great printer – get you own “HP certified” cartridges, you apparently can’t use off brand ones, won’t print, avoid their In$tant programs, I thought about getting giant ski mask to cover the printer with, but just canceled that mess and paid for 2 cartridges that were almost as much as the printer itself. It was like inviting a pick-pocket in the house. A pick-pocket printer indeed.

Sharp, clear prints; easy setup
So far, so good! This printer was easy to set up. It doesnât seem as solid as the 10-year-old HP all-in-one deskjet itâs replacing, but since I donât intend for it to leave the table it sits on, I donât think that will be an issue.Printed colors are sharp, clear and bright. Duplex printing has an annoying pause between sides. Initially I didnât click in one of the ink cartridges properly, which caused a paper jam error, but it was easily resolved. It was also easy to add this printer to my InstantInk account. I have a love-hate relationship with InstantInk, which made me look seriously at other printer manufacturers, but I kept coming back to HP for features like color printing, automatic duplex printing, photo image quality and price. I also figure that if the HP printer Iâm replacing lasted almost 10 years, like the one before it, HP is a pretty good bet.

GOOD CHOICE
Set-up is pretty straight forward. It’s best to go ahead and get the Ink and Paper subscriptions from the beginning. Print quality is much better than my previous Epson printer. Wireless performance is very good. Even at everyday print quality the color printing is good. Black and White printing is very crisp at the everyday setting.

Great Printer for the Price!
Set up was literally a breeze, about 10-15 minutes start to finish. Test printing looks great. In addition, I printed a full page color photo which also looks great. Perfect for my home office. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews.

I Purchased HP Envy Inspire 7955e All-in-One…Dec. 2023 It kept advising a paper jam – over and over when in fact (by accident) we discovered it was a loose ink cartage. I tried to return the new one HP Envy Inspire 7958e, however would cost Plus $50.00 just short of 50% of the cost of the item

I recently started using the HP Envy Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer, and Iâm delighted with its performance. This printer not only meets but surpasses my expectations with its high-quality output and versatile functionality.Setting up the printer was a breeze, and the print quality is excellent, whether Iâm printing documents, photos, or creative projects. The addition of the HP+ Instant Ink bonus for three months is a fantastic perk, ensuring I never run out of ink unexpectedly and saving on printing costs. The all-in-one capabilities are incredibly convenient; the printer handles scanning, copying, and printing with ease, making it a valuable addition to my home office. The wireless connectivity is reliable, and the mobile printing options make it easy to send documents from anywhere.Overall, the HP Envy Inspire 7955e has proven to be a reliable and efficient printer, offering great value with the Instant Ink subscription. Itâs an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-performance, multifunction printer. Highly recommended!

got this printer.opened box and followed instructions. was unable to open the ” cartridge door”. turns out the ” printer door has to be closed to open the cartridge door. This was resolved after chatting with the HP mobile support team. There could be a little note or focus put on this in the video presentation that accompanies the printer.Anyways, printer works great. happy with purchase… ( outside of the frustration related to set up and video chat!… if you ever do need the video chat support from HP, I will say that it is fabulous!)
