I struggled to find a ceiling fan/light for my 13’x24′ living room in my 1920’s home – with almost 10′ ceilings. With dark blue walls and a white ceiling I felt that the light should be all white to blend into the ceiling as opposed to being a focal point. Since I didn’t want it to look too modern, this was a tall order, I found – until I came upon this Hunter fan. And with an encased light – it is perfect – since I do not like looking at exposed light bulbs when entering a room. It is a bit large at 52″, IMO – but I guess that is better than too small. It moves the air nicely from end to end. I added longer pull chains for ease of changing fan speed without getting a step stool; it does not come with a remote. I find it quiet and steady – overall a very nice ceiling fan!

Very happy with this new fan.
This fan is really working good but it was a bit tedious to get it balanced. Our last one was a Hunter as well and we loved it but after one day it said it was enough and quit on us. We only run the fan during the night to keep the air circulating since I have issues with getting congested during the night. I sure hope this one will last us more than 5 yrs. We had Casa Blanca fans throughout our other home and they had been there for more than 15 yrs working beautifully not a rattle or wiggle from them. We were going to bring them with us when we sold the home but the buyers offered us a price we couldn’t refuse. Casa Blanca’s have gone up tremendously so we couldn’t afford them. Hunter Fans have a good reputation therefore we upped to purchase the brand for our entire new home.

Almost perfectly balanced right out of the box. Hate how the light globe is held on.
I have a long history with Hunter Fans. Never had a failure in 40 years of having them in my house. New house and a noisy fan in the bedroom. Installed this new Hunter and itâs beautiful, quite, and smooth. Easy to install well not excited how the globe is installed but never use the light anyway. That globe feels really cheap in how itâs held on. Not near as well as the older versions with the washer.

Hunter ceiling fans have been a good buy for our family
Really like this fan. It is the third Hunter ceiling fan we have bought in the last year and a half. The first two are used every day and are working just fine. They are very quiet which is important as they are in bedrooms. Also they are attractive and the price was good. Bought this one in white and it is larger than our first two so it required some help with the installation. Also some of the screws were the wrong size. Fortunately we had some we could use as replacements. All other parts were included, but wrong screws did cause some time delay. All in all installation took about 3 hrs. Parts were sturdy and well made. Instructions were easy to follow.

Great fan, glad I chose this one. Installation was easy. It took just over an hour to install with assistance from my wife. Good instructions. (Note; if you have a dimmer switch where you are installing this you will probably have to change it to an on/off switch. I tried it with the dimmer and the motor is very noisy. Changed the switch and all noise went away).The fan did not wobble at all. It did not need any blade balancing. It was good right out of the box.I use the fan mostly on the mid setting in my bedroom. You can barely hear the motor. Even on the high setting it is quiet and this fan moves a ton of air. I chose it because the CFM rating was a little higher than my second choice and am glad I did. This is a great looking fan and is a nice accent to our room. Would definitely recommend.

Very quiet and works with the Lutron fan switch.
I had a handyman install the fan and he didn’t have any trouble but I didn’t rate the installation.Rather than a remote, we are using the “Lutron Caseta Wireless Smart Fan Speed Control, Single-Pole, PD-FSQN-WH, White” as well as the “Lutron Pico Remote for Caseta Wireless Smart Fan Speed Control, PJ2-3BRL-WH-F01R, White”. We already had the Lutron Caseta hub and that ties into Google Home. It is very nice to voice control the fan.This fan is VERY quiet. We have run it at high a few times but usually use it on medium and there is NO motor noise and little fan/air noise.The fan is in our master bedroom and works great.
