Good quality insulated stainless steel bottle with a fun brand ethos
There are lots of stainless steel tumblers and water bottles out there, and the market is super competitive. Without a good brand identity, no companyâno matter how competentâis likely to make an impression. Thatâs why I think ChugJug is on to something. The name is great, and the bottles are as nice as any youâd find in a typical big box store.My bottle in particular, at 32 ounces, is the sweet spot for something like this. Itâs big enough to fill with ice and still hold a reasonable amount of water or juice inside, but itâs not so big that I canât stow it in my backpackâs water bottle holder. (It IS too big to fit in my carâs cupholder, but thatâs to be expected.)I havenât tested the bottleâs ice retention to the hour, but if I fill it up with ice and water before bed, there will still be plenty of ice inside when I get up the next day. I have no reason not to believe ChugJugâs claim that this bottle keeps cold stuff cold for 24 hours.The marketing materials make no claim of heat retention for hot liquids, but Iâm guessing 6-8 hours wouldnât be a stretch. This thing is well-insulated, heavy, and has a thick, durable, colorful coating. The lid makes a watertight seal, too, so everything is nice and leak-proof.As for that lid, itâs just OK. That said, Iâm a fan of drinking straight from the lip of something like this, so for me, all lids are âjust OK.â This one has a chug spout and a no-touch straw mouthpiece. I also appreciate the anti-slip silicone pad on the bottom of the bottle. Itâs still easy enough to tip over accidentally, but this is a nice touch that adds some meaningful stability.The one thing I really donât care for on this bottle is the accessory ring. To be clear, I like the opportunity for color contrast that this ring gives the overall package, and I am not questioning its utility. For people who want to attach carry straps and various baubles to their water bottle, this ring will absolutely do the trick. Really, I just wonât ever use it, and I canât remove it. On the other hand, I donât really see how ChugJug could make something like this removable in the first place, so itâs hard to knock it too much.NOTES:This ChugJug bottle is not advertised as being dishwasher safe, and the silicone pad on the bottom says âHAND WASH ONLY.â I have taken that on advisement, but after weighing the benefits and detriments, Iâve ignored it completely. Keep lid tight!
Rope is too long. Nice other than that. Iâve used it once. Not sure about the leakage. Make the strap a bit shorter.

Good quality
My oldest son really needed a new water bottle as he worn out his old one and I found this bright green one that’s 32oz and thought it was perfect for what he needed. I love the 2 in 1 straw and spout lid. He was blown away by how cool it looked. It’s leak proof and trust me we’ve truly put that to the test with him taking it to school, after school activities, and on weekends. What we both wish is that it had a handle to carry this bottle and a cover case to keep it protected. It does come with some stickers, easy to apply. My son didn’t end up using all of them as he thought some just didn’t apply for him and instead decorated with some of his own that he had. I love that this bottle is BPA free, stainless steel and keeps his water cold during summer heat in Texas. The bright green color is easy to spot when he’s at camp or at school. Overall a great quality, sturdy bottle that’s appealing to the eye. Fairly light as well to haul around everywhere.

Cute but too big
Very large, heavy. Doesnât fit in cup holder in car. Cute style though and very functional. But too big. A smaller size, maybe 24 oz, would be perfect!

Cute and Unique but mine started leaking
I got this water bottle primarily because I loved the rope handle/shoulder strap, I do think it is super cute and feels a lot nicer to carry than other bottles. I have noticed that the bottle gets scuff marks really easily. It keeps water cold but I donât think it is 100% leak proof, if I tip the water bottle upside down, water comes spewing out by the base of the lid (which I think is worse than leaking from the straw or the spout). A bit disappointing about the leaking but just keep your bottle upright and you should be fine. Does its job.

Very nice bottle (Just not chuggable lol)
So I needed an additional bottle and this seemed nice enough an option with an interesting color. Overall it’s pretty great and I have no complaints (other than the name). Ironically, for something called a “Chug Jug,” you actually can’t chug it. The hole for the non-straw portion is too narrow and football-shaped so you need to take big sips. If you hover it above your mouth it’s more chug-like, but still can’t throw it done too quick due to the size. Slightly annoying to me but hardly a dealbreaker.Hardly a big deal, I just found I funny due to the name.Seriously though, its a great, quality bottle. Love the non-slip bottom too.

Perfect for kids
I got this water bottle for my daughter and now I’m she absolutely loves it I got it so that she’ll drink more water but it is not just for water you also can’t put any type of juice or anything that you would like to keep cold or hot it keeps the temperature of any drink that you put inside of it it is a very decent size of 32 ounces and she loves the color you can also get other colors if you do not like the color but summer is coming and I suggest if you do not have one of these bottles it is definitely something you should look into because you can keep your drinks very cold and it’s very portable and easy to bring along with you everywhere you go to stay hydrated in these hot summer days

Straw lid problem
Straw lid needs to be pressed down into place every time I open it to drink from the straw, otherwise it will just suck air. See photo, itâs budged up by like 1mm on the left side. Thatâs a really disappointing problem to have right off the bat with a new product. The rest of it is built so sturdily so I was hoping this would last a very long time. Iâm going to stick with it because I like the strap holes and size of the bottle, and pushing the straw lid into place when I use it is becoming automatic, but stillâ¦It keeps water cool for about 8-12 hours; I donât use ice but overnight it keeps a decent fridge chill to it. Certainly not room temperature.It comes with a couple cute stickers. Not bad for the price but the lid issue is a bummer.
