Fantastic
Works fantastic! Less noise than my regular vacuum. Cleans pretty well, though it cannot get under some things, it does get up under my beds very well. The suction works well on my tile and hardwoodsâ¦.it sucks up the sand we get living near the coast. I got this on Prime Day Deal and that made it well worth the cost.

Huge time saver
Bought this at a great price during Prime Day sale. It was very easy to set up and works great. The app works, but is a little cumbersome to learn how to customize maps and other features. I set it up to do smaller area/rooms rather than doing the whole house at one time. It can also work with Alexa, but I find using the app directly is better.

Very good vacuum, mediocre Control Ap
I received my Roomba 504+ last evening and set it up today for first time use. It was very easy to unpack and prepare for use. The wifi connection to my 5G router was quick and easy. After downloading the associated Ap on my iphone, I found and read the user manual and used the Ap to start mapping. In my opinion, the Ap is very crude and weak in functionality and usability. I give it a 2star rating. Because it was not intuitive or very diversely functional. I came very close to returning this Roomba after fighting with it most the day! However I persisted trying different options on the Ap until I figured the whole first floor map was too large to vacuum in one mission. Each time the roomba would get halfway thru the map then need to go recharge the battery. After recharging it resumed vacuuming but all prior progress on the map was lost and the vacuum would start over at the beginning of the map. This has to be an error in the software. I could never find a way to resume where it last left off. To work around this problem I searched and experimented until I was able to divide the map into reasonable sized rooms, using merge and split, named the rooms and then vacuumed by room. I also set different vacuum settings for each room to optimize the battery power. I adjusted suction and # of passes per room according to usual amount of traffic. Then I started launching an automation for each Room, one by one. Im still learning the Ap so havent discovered how to string automations together by day/time. But at least Ive decided to keep this Roomba and continue testing it. The actual hardware is very good. It has good lidar mapping, good cleaning power and very configurable. I gave it 4stars for the quality and functionality of the hardware. My only complaint is that Roomba desperately needs to improve their Ap.

IRobot customer support is worthless.
Vacuum part works great. Auto dust bin emptying quit after 1 week of purchase. No help or good customer support after 2 weeks of sending requested emails and then getting no response from 2 different support staff.I was excited to receive this for the convenience of not having to drag out the vacuum daily for floors and carpet. With 3 animals it is a must. I was able to use the irobot daily and once a week do a thorough vacuum.Will not purchase another, because of the customer support being worthless if help is needed.

Solid upgrade to older Roomba’s
This is my 4th Roomba over the years. This replaced an old 960. I also have the J7+This cleans carpets better than the J7+ and it’s much faster to complete the job, perhaps due to the better navigation. I’m talking about 3 hours vs maybe 1.5 hours if the robot has to chargeThe 504 bumps into less things and overall seems to be a real upgrade. I’m happy with the purchase. I did think it was bagless but mine came with a bag. Not a big deal as the bags are cheap and maybe need replaced once a month. Maybe I need to read the directions and it can be bagless.Highly recommended for any pet owners out there! (2 dogs and 3 cats here)

Easy to use, and didnât miss a single spot!
This is my first experience with a robot vacuum and I am never going back to life without one.The Roomba arrives ready to use straight out of the box, and takes only minutes to set up the accompanying app. I found the digital ownerâs manual clear and easy to follow. Once you have the Roomba and docking station unpacked and plugged in, you can set your cleaning schedule and track its progress live all through the app. You are able to map and label all the different rooms and levels of your home, and can pick and choose individual rooms or levels to clean. The Roomba can sense stairs and will not fall down them.I was really impressed with my floors after the first cleaning. Not a spec of dust was left behind, and watching it maneuver around furniture and kids toys with ease was really satisfying. When the Roomba completes its cleaning program it goes back to the docking station and empties the dust back into the dock. Itâs just so easy, efficient and perfect for our needs.

Great improvement over my old Roomba i7+
I have a lot of clutter in my house that my old Roomba I7+ struggled with. Most days the I7+ would not complete the cleaning map because it would get trapped or stuck somewhere. The 504 on the other hand has worked flawlessly in the same area for over a month now. The new navigation system is substantially better. This was a steal at black Friday pricing. It is also way quieter than the I7+. Very happy with my purchase.
