Perfect size and very handy
Bought this to replace an old green square compost pail which didn’t have a tight seal like this one. This one looks so much nicer and so far the inside cleans a lot easier. Never had a problem with odor from a compost bucket with a filter but certain times of year the fruit flies are a problem. Been using this almost a month and no fruit flies. Very, very happy with this product.

Best Choice
This is my third compost bin and it’s the best! I love the true stainless that doesn’t spot and get finger prints all over. And it has a small odor absorbing charcoal vent in the lid. It’s pretty and looks great on the kitchen counter or table.

Well made and Large
This is a great counter-top compost pail. It’s nicer than a crock. Love having the carry handle. The lid fits tightly to prevent bugs and smell. It’s bigger than most crocks so doesn’t need to be emptied as often. The smooth interior allowed materials to slide out easily into the outdoor composter. It was very easy to clean. It came with a charcoal packet for odor control but I can’t find replacement packets thus four stars.

So much better than the stainless steel compost bucket
This compost bin looks nice on my counter. I replaced my older stainless steel compost container because it had rusted out. This one is nicer looking and a bit bigger. The oval shape is better than the round shape for the fact that it sits deeper against the wall. The handle and the inside plastic lining is lime green, which is my least favorite thing about this item, but I have the handle down on the back side where no one can see it. I have a compostable liner in the container which covers up the lime green edge, so that is covered up as well.Best of all, it is super easy to keep clean inside and out, and no rust! Yay!

Doesn’t keep fruit flies out!
While this is a nice looking compost bin, and it does keep odor at a minimum, it still drew lots of flies, I had to put it on the back porch!

Nice size and very attractive on my counter top
This is a very nice product. My old compost container would have to be emptied every day because of the odor. This one can sit on my counter for a couple of days, which is nice. It is easy to clean. Would have loved it if it came in a oil-rubbed bronze or darker color. Also the green liner doesn’t match my kitchen, but I can tolerate it and it doesn’t affect my review.
