Club coaxial and component speakers bring JBL pro sound to more vehicles. Their compact design means they’ll fit into more vehicles than many of our competitors, and their high sensitivity delivers outstanding performance even with modestly-powered factory systems. Rugged polypropylene cones with the Plus One™ design deliver hard-hitting bass and long performance life. Edge-driven silk dome tweeters deliver broader and smoother high frequency response, never-harsh regardless of output level. Starfish™ Tweeter Mounting Adapter and I-Mount Tweeter Mounting Kit in component speaker system for easy installation. Available in a range of standard sizes – 3″, 4″, 5-1/4″, 6-1/2″, 6″ x 8″, 4″ x 6″, 6″ x 9″, and 3/4″ – they’re the perfect upgrade from factory speakers.
Plus One Woofer Cone Architecture: Patented (US patent #7,548,631) Plus One cones provide more overall speaker-cone area than other speakers of the same size, resulting in higher sensitivity, increased low-frequency output and greater musical character.
Acoustically Damped, UV-resistant Polypropylene Cone: Every Club speaker’s woofer cone is designed to deliver clean, non-resonant sound quality, while standing up to the demanding heat and humidity of the car environment.
Bigger Magnet, Bigger Power Handling: The new Club lineup features a larger magnet delivering higher power handling than competitors at similar price points.

Good rear speakers to compliment to JBL GTO609C front components
I have tried a lot of speakers over the decades and these are up near the top of all the ones I’ve had. One thing that impressed me was the midbass on these exceeds everything I’ve had before. I have them crossed over with HPF at 80hz and driving them with a JL Audio 300/40 giving them 75w rms of clean power. They sound great and musical around the 30-40w range. I’d have to turn down the midbass a bit or increase the HPF to 120hz to push them harder as they will loose linearity with all the midbass at high wattage.I did a layer of sound deadening on the outer door skin (inside the door), and a second layer under the door card covering every hole that opens into the insides of the door and window regulator area. Then I added a foam mid-bass reverb pad behind the speaker, and finally the foam seal around the speaker itself to direct all the mid-bass into the cap through the door card. I believe this helped significantly in increasing the mid-bass and overall sound quality.

Great sounding speakers
I put these in my 2002 GMC Sierra extended cab, non-Bose truck. They sound great. Huge improvement from the factory 20+ year old speakers. Running the factory head unit still and the bass is just fine for me since I only listen to classic rock and country mostly. They fit fine, I just used self tappers and I donât have any rattle. You do have to order the adapter harness for GM and then after that itâs plug and play. Good value for what you get out of these in a factory setup. Hard to beat JBL!

Just ok replacements for 2001 Silverado
They are ok, base is pretty good, highs a little scratchy at times.A little disappointed, thought they would sound better than they do. But better than the stock speakers for sure…

MASSIVE upgrade over my factory 3.5âs!!! (WITH CAVEATâ¦READ REVIEW)
So⦠I upgraded my factory 2018 Chrysler 300 dash speakers to these JBL Club 3.5â speakers. They definitely sounded better than my OEM speakers but they were getting WAY too much bass. They were pretty distorted and muddy sounding. Chryslerâs built in EQ settings and crossovers on the UConnect basically prevent the volume from getting loud to protect their cheap speakers (mine is a non-amplified system). If you have a newer model 300, you know that the overall factory soundstage is pretty good, it just lacks those crisp highs and volume to really jam out. If you do upgrade to the JBL Club 3.5â speakers, I would also HIGHLY suggest that you order the Recoil BB-35 Bass Blockers to install on the positive speaker wire going into the speakers. The signal coming from the factory head unit to the dash speakers is a full range signal (highs, mids, and lows). The JBLâs come with a resistor installed that run to the tweeter to protect it from the lower frequencies, but nothing to filter the signal to the actual 3.5â. Initially I had to turn down the bass on my EQ so low to make the new JBLâs sound clean, and distortion free, that I lost that mid-bass that I enjoyed so much from the 6×9âs in my front doors and rear deck. The Recoil BB-35 bass blockers filtered all of those unwanted signals from playing through my new JBL 3.5â dash speakers so that I could turn up the low frequencies on the EQ giving me the upgraded soundstage and louder volume I was looking for. I couldnât be happier from such an easy and cheap upgrade to my OEM system! The difference is night and day!

Good performance
It works like a charm! I used the leak sealant into my car AC system as it stops cooling after 2 weeks. Easy to use and back to chill mode again. –
