If you irrigate, it’s an essential garden tool
On-line weather reports use various 24-hour periods for reporting daily rainfall, so I find a rain gauge very helpful in determining whether I need to adjust my sprinkler and drip systems. This is an excellent basic rain gauge, easy to read (having a measuring tube that you can hold up to eye level to read 0.1″ is a great advantage), and with a well-designed rim so that it doesn’t under- or over-estimate precipitation. Simple, and excellent value for money.

Accurate, sturdy, easy to tie to fence post
I used baling twine to tie this to my fence post. The post that came with this is too fragile for our Kansas winds. I love the large numbers & the blue line behind. Very easy to read at a glance. Also love the large opening to collect rain. It is accurate!!

The rain gauge is made with good quality materials. The plastic collection/measure cup is thick plastic and well marked to see the collected rain. The top beveled edge prevents rain hitting the top from splashing in giving good rain readings.The holder stand is segmented so you can determine the height you need.

Purchased for my parents last year. We live in SD where the weather changes a lot in one day. This was super easy to set up, digital display is easy to read and understand, the device that goes outside is durable and it appears to be very accurate. After a year it’s still a nice fit for my parents
