Great addition to the kitchen. No regrets.
I’ve had this unit for about 2 weeks now and love it. Always trying new recipes. Chicken Rotisserie works great. Takes 45 minutes to cook and chicken is not dry. The most difficult part of this recipe is putting the chicken on the skewer. 🙂 Coconut Shrimp came out great and better than any restaurant. Wings took a little longer than the recipe called but was worth the extra time. Chicken fell off the bone and was great. Other favorite dishes are Eggplant Parmesan and my favorite go to vegetable – Pesto Carrots with Goat Cheese.Unit is very easy to use. Plenty of presets to choose and help you get started. I do wish I could change the defaults for some settings to what I will be using most of the time. Not a deal breaker since it’s so simple to adjust time and temp.Cleaning the pans was easy by sink or by dishwasher. Cooking the rotisserie chicken, I thought it would be a mess inside, but it just took a simple wipe down.I will be ordering another one for my elderly parents. They’ll be able to use this simple to use oven and get great tasting dishes.

Unit Failure & Terrible Manufacturer Support
I actually liked the unit very much. It cooked food fast, was quiet, was easy to clean, and easy to operate. Only one major issue, which is why I gave it one star. After a little over 2 months it just quit in the middle of cooking my meal. I had not taken out the Amazon warranty, so I contacted the manufacturer, Kalorik. During the next 9 days I contacted them multiple times, but never received a response. So, I contacted Amazon about their vendor’s failure to respond. To make a long story short, Amazon had me to return it to them and they are issuing a refund. As an after thought – Kalorik finally contacted me today in response to my request for warranty service – 12 days after the request was submitted. If they are having that much trouble with units that they cannot respond quicker or if that is their usual manner of responding, I will certainly think many times before ever purchasing another Kalorik appliance.

Pleasantly surprised
This is my first experience with an air fryer. My friends kept telling me to get one, but I was apprehensive about buying one, mainly because I thought it just wouldn’t compare to an actual fryer or oven.First off, I love the way the air fryer looks. I went with this model because the stainless steel and French doors make it look really sharp and sophisticated. It looks the same in real life as it does in the advertised pictures.Second, it pre-heated so quickly! I set the temperature at 500 degrees and it finished preheating in less than 10 minutes! My regular oven would have struggled for half an hour before even reaching 400 degrees.Third, it made some amazing grilled salmon! I tried out this recipe from the little booklet that came with the air fryer, and it turned out sooooo good. I usually make roast salmon in my oven, and it takes about 30 minutes to cook through. The salmon cooked through perfectly in 10 minutes in the air fryer! I was shocked. And it tasted better too. It had a nice crispy crust to the exterior but was still soft and succulent on the inside. Perfect dinner. I am excited to try out more recipes like the grilled steak and pulled pork.Honestly, I thought the asking price was a bit steep for this product before receiving it. But now that I’ve used it and see how it looks in real life, I’m surprised it doesn’t cost more!Overall, a great product, and I highly recommend going with this one if you’re looking for a great first air fryer experience.

Cooks great, lots of useful functions, easy to use, easy to clean
Absolutely love this thing. Got it to replace my old George Forman grill and my smaller cheapo air fryer and the MAXX did not disappoint. Cooks better than both, does more and itâs much easier to clean (thatâs a HUGE plus in my book). Has preset functions but its easy to change time and temp to cook things your own way if you want. The grill function cooks pretty quick and leaves nice looking grill marks on the meat. Steaks and burgers get good and seared on the outside and stay pink in the middle. We also bake pretzels and cinnamon rolls with it, airfry chicken legs and wings, roast potatoes and vegetables and so on. Showed my teens how to use it and now they air fry frozen chicken nuggets and French fries for themselves. And bake frozen pizzas. Gonna make beef jerky with it one of these days with the dehydrate function. Plus itâs not big and bulky so it fits on the countertop without taking up too much space, itâs only a bit bigger than my previous basic air fryer that only had one function. Highly recommended!

Dial is touchy
Going on 3+ years with it. The touch screen is good but the dial becomes incredibly touchy and frustrating if it gets the slightest bit of dirt or oil in it. I have to clean the dial daily at minimum. Cookâs well though and we use daily.

I got this unit for two reasons – double-doors and to replace my toaster oven.I was a bit skeptical it could do everything it advertised, but since it fit in the place of my toaster oven (and looked so much nicer) I thought I’d try it. Of course it makes toast, so I thought I’d try the most outrageous claim – steak! The unit comes with a steak tray and my wife laughed at me when I told her I was going to try it – “You’re making ribeye in a toaster?” I was worried because these were grass-fed from Whole Foods – not cheap. But sure enough, it made a beautifully-seared medium-rare steak in exactly the amount of time the book said it would! Tender with the right amount of char and perfect grill lines, without smoking up my kitchen! (4 minutes on each side).So far, I’ve made steak, toast, re-heated pizza and english muffins, all without fail. My final dish that put this over the top and convinced me I was keeping this was last night’s baked polenta rounds – it made a better crust than anything I’ve ever gotten out of my oven!So yes, this is a 5-star review, for a very beautiful, hard-working oven. I can’t wait to try cookies this weekend.

I love this MAXX air fryer. It’ s perfect cook for a family. Easy to clean and use. This also functions as an oven which saves on my electricity as well as cook time. The product help cooking so much easier, faster, healthy and fun. I’ve used it couple of times now on several different recipes and overall, I have to say it has a much better cook versus other air fryers and toaster ovens I’ve used. Meats and vegetables both get a crispy or caramelized exterior while keeping the inside of the food moist. You can really tell that the speed of the air makes a big difference and makes the food crispier on the outside, but because it cooks so much faster, MAXX keeps the inside moist, unlike ovens which cook slower and dry out food. It is very simple to use and looks great on my counter, and the capacity is large enough to fit a whole chicken easily. It cooks pretty much anything you can think of.Highly recommend!

I purchased the Kalorik MAXX 26 Qt air fryer July 27th last year. It is listed as having 12 months warranty. On January 4th this year, just over 5 months into the 12 months warranty, I was baking muffins when the unit suddenly quit working. TOTALLY DEAD,NO LIGHTS!! Following Kaloriks directions I submitted my complaint online for the issue with the fryer. Kalorik replied by email, that they had received my complaint and that they âhad received my complaint and a ticket had been created â allow 3-5 business days for a reply. Two weeks later and still nothing.I went through their process and complained again, received same reply, complaint received and ticket created, expect a reply 24-48 hours. Another week still nothing.I called their support phone line left a message, nothingI do not know why they wonât contact me or honour their warranty.Best thing I can think of isDONT BUY KALORIK!!!!!!!

I’ve the basket air fryer before and wanted something slightly bigger. I was recommended by a friend to get this. I am absolutely amazed with the quality of this product. I’ve used this air fryer for a week now and the food has been perfect. I cooked chicken, salmon, and veggies using the preset time on the oven and the food turns out perfect, not dry.As a med student, I don’t have very much time to actually “cook,” and this is perfect because I can just season some chicken and veggies, throw it in, go study, and food is ready in about an hour. Because the oven is bigger than the basket fryers, I always make extra so I have lunch and dinner for a few days. Since getting this, I’ve eaten out less as well so I can save some money.Highly recommend for students and busy people.
