I ordered this model after many years of owning the same (but older) model. It arrived amazingly well packed, didn’t budge an inch in its box. Dials are different but the pans, etc. from the older model fit this one. Cooked lunch today, all was fine. i would suggest that the manufacturer mark a little more obviously the on/off and markers on the dials. This is a good brand, I never had a problem with the previous oven, it just began to grow old. My only other suggestion would be a 3 prong plug.

Almost perfect until it bursts into flame
First of all, it arrived on time. But upside down and bashed. Like it had been dropped from a decent height. The eps liner was smashed to little Styrofoam balls that cling to everything with static electric glee. The unit itself has a dent in the upper right corner….Amazon should give me a scratch-&-dent discount…?Anyhow, it works great. Respect the heat and don’t cook anything on the bottom at a high temperature. Learned that the hard way.I knocked off one star because my 12″ pizza pan doesn’t fit in it. Claims to cook a 12″ pizza though. I wish it was just a tiny bit bigger.EDIT 3/30/24 — Used it twice today and it worked perfectly as usual. Turned it on for the third time and it made a zzzippp-POPPP noise and burst into flame from inside the unit, upper right-hand side, behind the toaster timer area. I quickly shut it off and the fire went out. Lovely electrical fire smell.Another EDIT: 4/2/24 — I used the Kalorik website to contact the seller on Saturday, didn’t really expect any reply. I contacted Amazon yesterday and they got back to me right away with a sincere apology and offer for a warranty return. They sent me a label, I had to scrounge up a box, and I sent it back to them via UPS. Once it was in UPS hands I got an email from Amazon stating I had gotten a conditional refund pending their receipt of the Air Fryer.Got an email from The Legacy Companies a little while ago that they received my “request and a ticket has been issued. A support representative will be reviewing your request and will send you a personal response. (usually within 24-48 Business Hours).Thank you for your patience.Sincerely,The Legacy Companies Support Team”Amazon’s response was MUCH more appropriate. The freakin’ thing burst into flame in my kitchen…EDIT Again:4/4/24 — Legacy emailed me again:”As part of the purchase of the KALORIK brand, The Legacy Companies are not responsible for warranty fulfillment of any purchases made prior to 1/5/2024. Love the Size!
I love how large interior capacity is. I can do an entire box of clams in one operation rather than having to split it up into two, like my old air fryer. I love how the doors open up and stay open while I put the different pieces in. Everything is for easy to clean, except under two rods at the bottom. Other than that, everything‘s great. I can tell you, don’t forgetto put in the drip pan, it makes a real mess if you don’t use it.

I bought this air fryer for myself in July. I loved it and used it almost every day until it suddenly didn’t work in November. I spent almost two weeks calling, emailing, filling out their online contact form, and trying to get ahold of customer service via their site’s chatbot but ended up just talking to myself for a week. Not one person was connected to the chat for a week, yet their phone systems say it’ll provide a faster response.It was over a week ago when someone finally got back to me (via email) to say my warranty claim was approved pending an additional picture. I sent the picture. Still waiting on that approval.The lack of communication is awful and I know I’m not the only one whose Kalorik air fryer stopped working, so I would suggest you shop elsewhere unless you want to spend your free time talking to Kalorik’s robots.Update (or lack-thereof): I’ve now been attempting to have this situation remedied for one month, with no luck. Aside from the one person who approved my claim 20 days ago, I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone. I’ve even tried reaching out on social channels and am met with their read receipts. Save your money and avoid a headache, don’t buy Kalorik.Final update: I did the math. It took 45 emails to multiple members of Kalorik’s staff including the CEO (38 from me, the first 34 unanswered, none acknowledged by the CEO), 105 one-sided phone calls that all went to voicemail (with messages left on a variety of extensions), 8 website contact form submissions, 26 DMs to their social media channels (none were responded to),16 days of prompting and waiting for a live agent to connect to Kalorik’s chat bot, and 1 formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau over a period of 41 days to finally have my replacement product. Their IT Director ended up being the person who responded to one of my many emails and placed the order for my new unit. It took two days for everything to go through and I couldn’t even get a valid explanation or apology.Out of all those numbers, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Kalorik got back to me the day after my 1 complaint to the BBB. Anyone going through what I did might want to consider taking that step.

I love this oven combo. I has replaced a bunch of small appliances, making my kitchen less crowded. The food I have made in it is so delicious. Nice and crispy air frying, quick baking/toasting etc. I love that it has so many functions. There are 3 things that would improve this oven (which would give it a 5 star for me). First, it would be nice if the oven light stayed on when you open the doors. There is a button to turn it on and off when the doors are closed and it’s running, but once you open the doors to look at the food and take it out, the light goes out and it’s dark. Secondly, you have to have a fair amount of counter space in order for the doors to stay open. They have to be open ALL the way, which is (in my opinion) further than they really would need to open in order to get the trays out. Thirdly, my old toaster oven came with a few racks, this one comes with 1 of each of the racks. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to put in more than 1 rack and be able to flip the food accordingly. I realize the cooking/baking etc. is probably more even and better with just 1 rack in the oven, however, when you’re in a hurry and have a lot of food to cook, that would be a nice option. I chose the manual knob oven over the digital, as I find they often last longer. (My older manual toaster oven is 15+ years old and still works perfectly, just wanted a new one with more features.) All in all, I’m very pleased with this oven and have used it almost every day since I received it and am looking forward to trying more things in it.
