Great for the bar! Works with Alexa.
This is my third purchase for this led light string. I use it with Alexa over WiFi and the Kasa Skill.I like that I can turn it on and off and set the color via the App. I put a string under the bar top and behind the bottles on the shelves.I wish the commands were better documented but for the price, this product is slick and easy.The material is indoor, four connector with sticky tape back strip for mounting. I have cut the strip and soldered wire extenders between the shelves. Not that hard if you go to YouTube to learn, else buy the no solder strip connectors.I use Alexa and the KASA skill and find this very useful. We do have other KASA devices, so I like that they are dependable and consistent with my other devices. KASA has great value on smart switches and plugs that are WiFi based, so you are not tied to a Smart Hub that updates it’s code and requires you to change all your Zigbee devices when the hub is replaced or dies.

Affordable and easily connected to kasa smart home setup.
There’s not much to say about a 16 ft strand of LEDs. I have mine running around my workbench and they are connected to the kasa smart home app. I can control them by voice using my Alexa device.

Great price, easy setup, nice lighting features
Purchased and installed these for under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. The physical installation was easy, the tape strip adheres well to the underside of the cabinets. I completed the setup with the Kasa app before I installed them. I was unfamiliar with the Kasa app but it went smoothly. Also set it up to work with Alexa and that works awesome as your are able to turn the lights on, off, or change colors with Alexa. They also have all kinds of smart settings and scheduling as well as different light show effects.

My son had a string of LED stars but his sister pulled on them and ripped the cord. Heâs been having a hard time falling asleep and saying heâs afraid of the dark. I found these and LOVE that I can set them on a schedule and turn them on/off from an app on my phone. No more worrying about them staying on all day. He is thrilled with all of the color choices (though I told him it had to be pink, red or purple to help with sleep) and I love that I can dim them. They were super easy to install and I had no issues. Easy to line up with the ceiling and the remote control is secured to the wall nicely.

Nice lights/features for ambient light
I purchased 2 sets “Used – Like New” but 1 set had obviously been mounted and removed as it had torn paper stuck to the adhesive strip. I mounted the strips above my kitchen cabinets. I like the light effect, the dimming and the near infinite color choices. However, you have to set up a group in the app to get both sets to have the same color and the options aren’t as extensive as for a single strip. Also, if you use an effect in the app (like changing colors in a pulsing manner) the light strips aren’t in sync. Also, some of the colors like a warm white will show a little of the blue and green when bouncing light off of a white ceiling. Not bad but can be a little noticeable on some settings. Still, for the price and the Alexa integration it’s worth it.Now, if they would come up with a battery powered remote light switch that you could pair and then stick on the wall…

Came with an American plug, I assumed seeing as it was sold on Amazon Australia and came from Australia it would be an Australian plug, nowhere in the description did it say otherwise. Seller gave me $18 back for me to buy an adaptor! Shame America and Australia use different voltages!!!

Good brightness and easy to install. I am happy with the quality and would buy again! The app is a little off colour on the colour wheel, versus the actual light colour coming out of the LED but thatâs easy to figure out. I also love that I run it from my Kasa app. I do wish it had a white LED but I knew it didnât while buying it, and the white colour still looks fairly close.One piece to note: I ran it down my counter and had excess so ran some of it back in the other direction. I noticed when looking straight up at it that one side looked like a different colour than the other. At first I thought that I had kinked it on my corners, but after a bit of trouble shooting and testing, I realized itâs just an optic of how the LEDâs look, and from the opposite direction you see the same affect.
