Poor construction
The sales literature is misleading. They do not accurately guide you as to ROPS sizing to work with the shade. The advertising says that if your ROPS exceeds 44.1 inches the shade won’t fit. My ROPS is 33 inches. This is too narrow. I had to assemble it with the L brackets on the opposite side of the shade support tube from what is shown in the instructions. The fit of the parts was poor. The holes did not line up where the tubes slide together. All of the welded nuts had dirty/damages threads and needed a tap to clean them up for assembly. If you are not mechanically inclined buy with caution.

Pretty Good For The Price, But Won’t Work For Every ROPS
This is relatively easy to assemble. The design and components are pretty good. If your ROPS are narrower than 25″ from inside to inside then you might need to fabricate or get creative.Once you get the pieces out of the box and organized it takes just a few minutes to get the canopy portion installed. The materials are pretty decent for the price paid, but they are not going to hold up as well as something more premium. The canopy portion is fairly light weight and easy to handle by one person.The tricky part can be trying to get the L brackets positioned on the ROPS. If you’re ROPS are wider than roughly 25 or 26″ inside to inside then you probably won’t have much of an issue, but if your ROPS are narrower than 25″ (24″ inside to inside like my LS J2023H) then you’ll have to fabricate pieces or think outside the box to make this work. I had to leave the inside square bolt out on each bracket in order for the brackets to slide to the outside enough for the distance to be right for the canopy to fit (pics included).I torqued the nuts down pretty good and it would probably be OK, but I’ll probably try some different things or fabricate my own pieces in order to utilize a second square bolt. My next step will be to try moving the square tube that pivots to the outside of the brackets and perhaps that will allow enough room for the second bolt (I have rounded ROPS at the top, but a 90 degree square corner might be fine. If I can shift some things around to make it work then the downside would be that this will sit up an additional inch or two higher and it already sits up too high in my opinion.I would also recommend sanding down the male square tubes and perhaps putting a little grease on it as well so it slides in and out more easily. If you don’t then there’s a good bit of friction and it can bind up. If it slides apart more easily than it would be pretty simple to take the canopy off and fold the ROPS down if you needed more clearance.KEMIMOTO makes some pretty good stuff (I’ve got some other ATV and tractor products from them in the past), and this is a pretty good one as well. If you want a more affordable canopy that’s fairly easy to take on and off then this is one to consider. If you’re pretty hard-core and want something really HD that you don’t need to take on and off then you’d probably want to look at other options.
