Slick looking with Great Features
First, it came in a super slick looking box. Parts are made of good materials, no cheap feels there! You are also given options on how you want to mount the dashcam.Video quality is great. Things can be seen clearly at night also. Both front and back videos are available. Even if the dashcam screen shows only front camera view, it also records the inside view. You can also change the settings to show both views on the screen.New feature for me is being able to transfer the video directly to my phone using the kingslim app. You won’t have to take out the memory card, although that is also an option. All the settings and options are easy to understand. Built-in GPS also helps with the timezone, so times are automatically adjusted, which wasn’t a feature in my previous dashcam. Overall, satisfied with the purchase.

Good Upgrade to 4K DashCam
I’ve been using Kingslim dashcams for a while now. Starting with the older D model that was 2K resolution and then another 4K resolution model in another car. They always power on and work, which is what I need them to do.Here are some pros:-You can read license plates when they are upclose (cannot post license plates on Amazon reviews, but just take my word for it)-You can see during the night enough to read street signs.-The camera can record front, back, or both. In my case, I probably won’t be using the back too much. But I like the option.-The user interface has gotten better on Kingslim over the past years.-There is a noticeable upgrade from 2K resolution to 4K.-I can connect power from my rear view mirror using a USB adapter.Cons:I think the camera focus could be modified to work better. It has a tendency to focus more on my truck’s hood than on what is out ahead of me. Hopefully this is something future Kingslim cameras will accomplish better.Overall, given that I’ve had Kingslim dashcams for over 3 years now, I would recommend this brand.

Impressive with Sharp Video Quality
The D6 camera is impressively easy to operate. The camera records two views at the same time. Upon reviewing the videos in the camera app’s album, the two different recorded views are side-by-side with date and time stamps. The clarity on the camera videos are crisp and clear, as is the night video quality. The D6 booklet explains it all and includes a help number if needed. The only thing additional needed is a “dash camera memory card.” The D6 camera will notify you when you need to clear memory. I consider this D6 camera an investment in my personal security. The most challenging aspect for me has been determinging the sweet spot for placement on my windshield. Now, my brother wants to buy one for his truck.

Dont buy. For a 120$ item with no memory card included is very expensive. The video quality is ok. You can buy a better dash cam with all of these included. Also, the dash cam was moving while driving. There is nothing to tighten it. So this is a 1 star for me. I have to return it and get a refund.

Love this dash cam!! Itâs gets the job done.
This is my first dash cam so nothing to compare too. This camera feels robust, not cheaply made. It offers impressive video quality especially in low light. Setting up is a snap. The suction cup-mounted bracket firmly secures to the windshield, surpassing other options. The only thing I had to add was a micro memory card.

USB-C
!!CAUTION!! This dash cam has no meaning of having a USB-C port! I already have D4 dash cam and bought this D6 for USB-C port and indoor cam but it has no meaning to have a USB-C port! having USB-C port means that it is more convenient to power the device these days but this one works with their CIGAR JACK CABLE ONLY! It does NOT work with any other usb-c cables. I tried with power bank and with normal charger at home and nothing works but their own cable only! what’s the point of having USB-C port then ??? I am very disappointed with Kingslim. D4 model even works with power bank! Kingslim intentionally closed their power supply system so customers must buy cables from them again when you lose or have problem with cable. you cannot probably connect it to your fuse box or dash cam power bank!
