Great product.
Loved the castor oil bars so much I ordered full sized bars, they make my hair super soft and shiny. The sample box came with 4 bars completely intact but when I ordered my full size bars they came crushed, chipping off in chunks and the chunks donât always rinse out so be aware of that.

Works great for baby fine/thin hair!
My hair feels great! I have baby fine/thin hair, and have tried different shampoos and conditioners, hoping for extra volume. In the last year, my mom passed away, two of my aunts and uncles passed away, and then my dad. My mom had been in hospice for a couple months before she passed. It wasnât long after that, my dad needed care. Iâm saying all this for a reason. With all the stress and probably hormonal changes as I get older, my hair started shedding like mad! And since itâs so thin, it sticks to everything. Iâve also been trying to reduce plastics and buy products that are good for the environment.I wasnât sure how the bar products would work on my hair, but I saw the kitsch sampler package, specifically the castor oil shampoo/coconut oil conditioner, and the rice water protein shampoo/conditioner. Figured it couldnât hurt to try⦠nothing else seemed to be working! So far, Iâve only tried the castor oil, coconut oil. Itâs interesting to use. I rub the bar in my hands and get some lather before putting it in my hair. The castor oil has a lather just like a normal shampoo, and rinses out easily. The conditioner is a harder to tell, it doesnât really lather, but it has some substance. I just made sure that I got all of my hair coated, and this rinsed out easily too. My hair gets tangled easily, and I was worried about combing it out afterwards. I was hoping that I used enough conditioner on it. I had a couples tangles, but I gently worked on them and they combed out nicely, without a ton of hair left in my comb! Progress!I like the texture and feel of my hair. I will continue to use the castor oil and coconut oil shampoo and conditioner, and try to rice water protein items.My only slightly negative feedback is that they donât have a pretty scent. They donât smell awful, but I love prettier scents. When it dries it smells ok, it smells clean. I noticed kitsch has hair perfume, so that seems like an easy fix. Iâll just buy a sampler of the perfumes and find my scent. Easy-peasy! My actual rating would be a 4.6, but I recommend trying these products.

First experience with shampoo and conditioner bars
I wanted to try these shampoo and conditioner bars for several reasons. I also have some experience in making all natural and organic cold process soap at home, so I was interested in trying these with the idea that I might make some shampoo and conditioner bars for myself, with organic, and all-natural ingredients. But that takes a little more effort, so I decided to order these to try them out.Earlier this year I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition so I am very careful about using products that I consider all-natural. Actually, I thought I was already very careful about pure and natural personal care products, as well as diet. The quality and purity of the ingredients is very important to me. Also because of this condition, my hair has been shedding increasingly, so much so, that it is scary sometimes. Possibly due to the condition, and also as a side effect of the medicine that is used to treat it. My hair has a natural wave, and always has been really thick, so I usually like a conditioner that will smooth it down. On my first try, the bars were completely dry, and it took a little getting used to, wetting them to get them to lather up. I liked the pink shampoo bar, which I think was the castor oil, and the yellow conditioner bar, that was also castor oil. They feel good lathering up, and I like the feel of my hair afterwards. I have not tried the brown and white bars, they were the rice water shampoo and conditioner.The scent is very pleasant, and I am not sure if this is a fragrance or oil or an essential oil. As far as I know, I have never had an allergic reaction to an essential oil, although it is possible. I do quite frequently have allergies to perfume though. That is what I wondered, because since I bought these I have been sneezing a lot. Unfortunately, I think I may be allergic to the fragrance used in these bars.I am going to keep shopping for another shampoo or conditioner bar. I like the idea of using Rosemary because I am trying to calm down the scalp and regrow my hair, either with an oil or a tea made from Rosemary. I may end up trying to gather all the ingredients and come up with my own formula.I have even thought of investing in a showerhead filter to remove chlorine, because that could also be affecting my scalp.I really wanted to like these bars, and I think if you are not allergic to the fragrance they are very nice. I will do a little bit more research into the ingredients, as there are so many of these recipes available on YouTube.

Great shampoo but the conditioner not so great.
I loved the shampoo samples but felt the conditioner samples were lacking. The shampoo lathered really well and lasted long but the conditioner did not. I went through both conditioner samples before I even finished my first shampoo. I felt like the conditioner didn’t soften my hair as much as a liquid conditioner would and my hair was very tangled. I did however notice my hair was bouncier when using the rice water protein shampoo.

What a Fabulous Find!
I was an avid W## user for years. I can’t use regular shampoo as it dries out my hair. I can’t even use the expensive salon shampoos. Nor can I tolerate wheat or gluten in my products. My best friend encouraged me to just try Kitsch and see how it worked for me. I originally bought the sample box just to try it out After only ONE use I could tell the difference right away. My hair was soft and shinny. No knots, frizz or dry hair. One shampoo will last 3-4 days. I was so impressed, that I purchased the full sized bars in the sample box. Both bars will last a long time and I think I will save money in the long term. I plan to go back and get a few more different sets.

These are too small pieces. It’s difficult to hold them even while bathing! The price is too overhyped for the product. I’ve already tried two of your soaps, with little or no positive result.
