Good guide for shelf holes
Used this for drilling shelf holes in cabinets I’ve been building. Certainly simplifies the process, though if you are a serious cabinet maker this is likely too inefficient for your needs. Comes with its own onboard storage for the drill bit, hex wrench, and peg. My only complaint is that the drill bit won’t fit in the onboard storage slot with the collar still in place (so you have to remove or at least move the collar back to the position where you’d want it before you use it next). This is a simple design fix they should have done on their end before producing it.

Designed well and easy to use
Let’s face it, if you own anything Kreg, you trust the product. These guys have so many really well,designed jigs and tools that it’s a “no brainer” to purchase any of them, and this little jig is no,exception.Easy to set up and easy to use and of course we’ll designed.I did all my shelf pin holes for my garage cabinets using this jig and every shelf fits stable and true.

There was a part missing in the package so I contacted customer service and they were quick to respond. They didn’t just ship me the part but shipped me the whole tool. I will be giving them more of my business. Been using kreg tools from the time they started and they have good quality tools.

Works well with one caveat…
These work well, but unlike their older version I get some tear-out. To solve that just a quick burst with the drill in reverse before drilling normally alleviates that but it’s a little annoying to have to do that for every hole. Otherwise they’re accurate and get the job done.

A lovely tool that I bought for my son and in return he made me 3 large bookcases, definitely value for money, the build quality of this tool was great and made the building of said bookcases, my son in law who was a carpenter asked me if it was a kit that just needed assembling because of the precision of the holes for the shelf supports.Very pleased with it.
