Kuma Stoves was founded in 1981 when Mark Freeman, built the first Kuma Stove on the tailgate of his Chevrolet pick up truck. To this day, Kuma Stoves continues to be a family operation building high quality products for chimney protection.

Great product for protecting more than chimneys!
My dad had a metal roof put on his porch and was worried about sliding snow taking out his internet dish. I installed the Kuma Snow Destroyer last year for him and now he has no worries. It has been through 1 winter and is still as solid as can be! I purchased the stainless option from their website.

Heavy-Duty! Problem solved!
Back in 2008 we had a very heavy snow year and I had to shovel my then shingle roof off more than once; and once was too much. At that time I decided that, when the time was right, weâd replace our asphalt shingle roof with a metal roof and put an end to that nonsense- but I knew that when we did, the snow would remove itself en masse as a magnificent slide; I would need something to keep my plumbing vents from being destroyed. Well, in 2019 I finally had the opportunity to do the metal roof, and I installed these Kuma snow protectors on my two vents at that time. I have been able to forget about problems with snow on my roof ever since! I now see that they have a model made especially for plumbing vent pipes; I guess I would have used that if it had been available to me then, but these have worked great! As you can see in the picture, my pipe just happened to be right in the middle of a rib of the metal roof. The design of this divider made adjusting for it and centering/attaching simple and fast. Also, as you can see in the picture, I painted mine green to match my metal roofing color!

Fantastic product to keep your chimney protected.
I just installed one of these on my shop roof. Very impressed with the quality of this product. Feels and looks extremely heavy duty. Although it ships flat and requires some assembly, the easy-to-use instructions and all necessary hardware included made easy to assemble and install. This thing looks absolutely indestructible⦠Seriously, my entire shop could fall apart around it and this thing wouldnât be going anywhere. Extremely satisfied with this product!
