Kuma Stoves was founded in 1981 when Mark Freeman, built the first Kuma Stove on the tailgate of his Chevrolet pick up truck. To this day, Kuma Stoves continues to be a family operation building high quality products for chimney protection.

Excellent product. Very heavy duty, came with all required hardware, easy to follow instructions.
We were impressed with the quality of the product and the speed of delivery. Haven’t had snow yet to test it but expect it will perform exceptionally. Easy to install, quality metal, brackets and hardware.

This is a high quality product. I have installed many of these Snow Destroyers and haven’t had problems with any of them. They always come with the right hardware, plus some extra hardware in case you need it.They are very easy to install, with clear instructions. The feet are extremely adjustable to fit anywhere on your roof easily.The optional chimney brace is also quite simple to install and looks very clean.

Pretty easy to install
The divider ships flat so you have to do some assembly. It took me 20 minutes to install start to finish. I used 100% silicone to seal the feet to the roof. It included 1 extra of each fastener which is good because if you drop one (which I did), it will end up on the ground. I installed the optional brace kit because the pipe was a little taller than normal. You have to pay extra for the brace kit. I feel like this chimney is ready for winter now.

Inside, youâll find the snow splitter itself, mounting hardware, and a basic instruction sheet. Installation is simple. The unit is designed to mount directly onto 6″ to 10″ round chimneys. It uses adjustable clamps to ensure a tight, secure fit without the need for custom tools.Performance is good. It works by deflecting snow and ice away from the chimney, splitting the load before it can build up. This prevents impact damage, reduces the risk of denting, and keeps pressure off chimney seams. Build quality is excellent. The steel is thick and coated for long-term durability. Welds are clean, and the finish holds up well to harsh winter conditions. Fit is universal for most standard chimney sizes within the 6″ to 10″ range. Once tightened in place, it stays firm and doesn’t shift, even in heavy snow or wind. Overall, this is a smart accessory with solid protection, long-lasting materials, and a functional design. Full marks from me!
