I got this recommended to me by one of my friends who has it for her dog so I ended up buying it and it is perfect for what I need it for! We have about a 30 pound dog and it works perfectly and it’s super easy to clean and the fit is perfect in the back of my truck. The quality is also amazing and it stays in place and super easy to use and set up. I feel very secure with my dog sitting in this and would highly recommend!

Durable cover
There are not many half seat hammocks and this one is high quality. It is a little on the complicated side to set up when you first get it, but once you start it’s easy to finish. The material is great and our pup is able to sit safely in the back with our baby. The only downside to this is that the hammock does get a little flimsy because of the large gap behind the drivers seat when I drive because I need to sit further up than my husband. If the dog ends of sitting too far forward in the hammock, they can sink down in that front part and get stuck for a bit until you get to your destination.

Best cover I’ve owned, but does break down over time
First, I’ll start by saying that I’ve owned and seen several car covers for dogs and this one by far is the best in terms of durability, water resistance, and style while accommodating human passengers when you have more than furry friends on board. I bought it almost a year ago and it lives exclusively in my back seat as at least one of our 2 dogs comes along with us or needs a ride somewhere every day. I recently also moved it from my main car (Hyundai Elantra) to a rental (Toyota 4Runner) that I took cross county with and it was game changing for keeping the car clean despite lots of hair, muddy paws, and MESSY meals (think yogurt everywhere…). My main car is a bit small for it but it does work exactly as designed, and the Toyota rental was the perfect width except the elastic bands that were designed to go around the seat bottom to keep it in place didn’t work with the hinges on the bench that allow you to fold the seats out. In both cars though, the seat belt holes are wide enough to accommodate both car sizes and seat belt placements and the velcro kept the mess from sliding down onto the seat you’re trying to protect.I would have given 5 stars until switching this from my car to the rental; the day-after-day Virginia sun must have stiffened the material the seat rest straps are made of and they basically dissintegrated. The clips themselves also became brittle over time and have since busted during the transition then out of the rental after the 3-week trek across country.That being said, I’m actually writing this review because I’m going to buy a new one to replace my first one, but at the price point I would suggest to Kurgo to make the straps as durable as the rest of the seat and for people to only buy it if you either plan to never take it out of your car or always take it out of the car before leaving it in the sun.

Sturdy Fabric. Easy to Install and Remove
This is a good product. It is the second one I’ve ordered (one for two vehicles)–one a small sedan and the other a full-sized SUV. It’s very easy to secure and to remove if you want to put passengers in the back seat. The material is sturdy and it cleans off pet hair with a couple of shakes. I would order again.

Decent cover, but lack support
The cover was made with good material, however, the bottom lacks support. My dog would at times slip off the seat, while it’s a hammock, it made him uncomfortable.I understand it’s a hammock and it hovers, it was tightened, but once my 65 lb dog is in it, it loosens and is on the car seat. And at first he was extremely uncomfortable in it, he was only finally sleeping in it after 4 hours of running.Overall the product does it’s job, but would be better if there is a bottom support.

This product is perfect for a partial coverage backseat sling. I have my smaller dog who rides in a cage on one side of the back seat and this nicely fits securely over the middle and opposite backseat to give my big dog a comfortable place to ride.

Fantastic product. My puppy was frightened on his first journey and pooped and was sick. I was able to clean the cover with wet wipes to get home and then washable in the machine. The car was fully protected. Also keeps the puppy contained within it due to the hammock style

Fits well in my tiny Kia Picanto, but has enough give that it could fit a much bigger car too. Very secure. It doesn’t come with a harness attachment but there are easy access flaps to access the seatbelt fittings if you need them.

Iâve tried several different car seat covers for my dog (English Bulldog, not a small one), and this Kurgo Car Seat Cover is the first one that really worked. It stays firmly in place and feels very sturdy compared to the three other covers I tested before. The protection around the seat belt openings is excellent â the thick Velcro keeps dog hair from getting through, which was always an issue with other covers.The only downside is that the front part doesnât have a flap, so my dog canât climb in by himself â I have to lift him in. But once heâs inside, he moves around a lot, and this cover truly protects the car interior from hair and dirt.Overall, very satisfied â strong, reliable, and does exactly what it should.
