Helpful safety measure especially for DIYers
I had to do some repairs on a steeply sloped carriage house roof. Crawled up to the roof peak and attached this device, then attached a heavy duty carabiner to my safety harness rope. This combo appeared to be of good quality at a reasonable price. So far I have only used the device that goes between a body harness and the rope (as I had another rope that I wanted to use for a dirty roofing job.) The part that I used worked well.
