Lamp has a nice long cord. It was easy to put together. On/off switch seems sturdy. Nit certain how long the shade will hold up as it is sorta cheaply made and thin. However, overall it is a good product for the price.

Not enough light
Did not like the brightness of this light. I feel like I need another one in order to give enough light in the room I have it in. Other than that itâs simple and built good for the price. Doesnât weight anything and can be put in any corner.

Excellent for the price…
I received the lamps (2) today, and so cannot comment on their durability, but for the price these are excellent lamps – exactly what I wanted. Assembly was not difficult (though be sure not to use a lot of force when screwing the lamp together). The lamp is a good height (the reason I chose this lamp over a few others at a similar price) and gives excellent illumination. The base is heavy enough to give acceptable stability.You can spend more money and likely get a bit better quality of lamp, but for the price this is a bargain. I may well order a few more for the darker rooms in my house.

Surpisingly great lamp!
This little lamp has proven to be a find. Great price, sturdy and simple. It has a bit thinner lampshade than many torchere type standing lamps and it’s slightly compact style is very easy to assemble. Despite the top being a bit smaller, it gives out a lot of light – perfect for a corner. My only issue is the wobbly top shade. It is lightweight and the shade just sits into the plastic base (vs. screws in) so it wobbles a little if brushed by a curtain or such. So – I put a couple of drops of super glue in the base part and now the shade doesnât move at all. To change the bulb, you just reach into the top to screw it in. I recommend this for function, but also because the simple style goes with almost anything and it doesnât look like a cheap lamp. I have it plugged into a remote and have no problems. Even though it’s plastic, I donât think the shade will get burned by the bulb as thereâs a lot of room between the bulb and the shade. The shade doesnât affect the color of the bulb light as itâs an opaque, light off white color. Even though the shade is plastic, it’s a sturdy, lightly brushed surface vs. shiney surface. The plastic does not look cheap. The pole is metal and the base is solid. It’s well designed.
