Nothing but Problems
Update: Original Review Below. I gave up on trying to get this PC to function properly with Windows and installed Linux Mint to see if I could salvage it. I’ve used this strategy to wring extra life out of numerous PCs in the past. This is the first PC that I’ve encountered that continues to have significant problems after being converted to Linux. The battery life is terrible. I am getting 2.5 hours runtime which is atrocious on a machine running Mint. I will not be buying a Lenovo again.Bought this for a laptop for my daughter for college. It has been nothing but problems. While there are multiple issues, the one that makes this PC unsuitable for her is the fact that the web camera consistently and repeatedly crashes while in use. This is a significant problem for a student who occasionally has to take exams that are proctored over her web cam. I am very computer literate and spent many hours scouring the forums for a solution, but none seems to exist. I eventually was forced to buy my daughter a different PC, which has had no issues. I brought the Lenovo home and did a clean reinstall of the OS to further trouble shoot it, but it continues to have the same webcam issues.

Lenovo V15 laptop 16RAM is terrible to set up if you don’t want to rent windows suites.
My husband tried to download my own programs but after 2 weeks something new always started a new glitch. We were helped by tech support twice and AI support. Nothing worked. I finally took it to a local computer repair shop and they were able to make it work for the purpose I bought it for. If the computer tech person had not been able to set up this computer I was going to return it. I refuse to rent Windows suites when I already paid for the operating system. This Lenovo is good for the price and for my purposes is a good buy.

Too Slow running Windows
Quick Update: After loading Windows 10, this laptop works very well. I would recommend anyone that buys this laptop downgrade Windows.Not impressed. Even though it has a faster processor than our old laptop, it was significantly slower. After looking into the settings, I found that the processor stays maxed out due to windows apps running in the background (that canât be turned off). Would be better if it had the older version of Windows installed.
