This worked wonders for me.
I suffer from adult acne and have tried numerous treatments. Most are too harsh for my skin and wind up making the acne worse even products with retinol. I bought this hoping it would make a difference. It has.It says you can use this with regular acne products but I don’t. For me it took about a week before I noticed a difference. When I arrived, I had broken out pretty badly including cystic acne. I used this twice a day for 3 minutes on the trouble spots. Within a few days, I noticed healing and within a week, almost all the original acne was gone. I’ve kept using it and any flare ups are usually gone after one or two treatments (a day or two). I’ve not had a really bad case of cystic acne breakout since that first week and I haven’t had a ‘bad’ breakout while using it. It appears to be working really well for me.I’ve not had the hyperpigmentation mentioned. There were a few days where I’d used the lightstim a little bit longer than 3 minutes in a few areas and when I pulled it away, there were indentations and marks where the device had been against my skin. Those took a couple hours to go away. I stopped doing longer sessions in the morning to prevent that.This does get somewhat warm as it approaches the 30 minute shut off. It’s not painful but if your skin is really sensitive, you might want to use this in shorter sessions.

Works!!
This worked wonders for my hormonal acne. I used it at least 5 times a week for 2 months and experienced a dramatic reduction in breakouts. Additionally, any breakouts that did appear would disappear within a day or two. After two months of using 5+ times a week, I went down to 3 times a week for a month, then once a week for a month, now I use it once maybe every other week for maintenance. My skin is pretty much perfectly clear now. And itâs tone and evenness is much better. Also BONUS!!! It helps fade bruises faster. I use it when I get a bad bruise (I bruise easily) and it breaks up the bruise in a few days (using for 10-15 min on the bruise each day). Typically it takes two weeks for bad bruises to mostly heal on me. So using this on bruises has been significant for me.

Best defence against acne!
Love LightStim – Years ago our oldest son had very inflamed acne. We used the Blue LightStim device and after the inflammation went down we followed up with microdermabrasion. Acne was gone for good! Now my youngest son (who has autism) is having the same challeges.I give it 4/5 stars for two reasons. First – our first device was rechargeable, this one must be plugged in the entire time. It limits the comfortable spaces we can perform treatments. Second – this device has individual lights that touch the skin and it is hard to santize or wipe with alcohol between uses. We purchased disposable ear covers (clear stretchy plastic) to put over the device so we don’t transfer any bacteria between uses.

RESULTS
I’m getting results! I have very problematic skin. Constantly dehydrated, persistent adult acne, possible rosacea, highly sensitive/allergic skin… The list of frustrations goes on. A lot of the topical products for acne are very drying, which my skin just can’t handle. This kills acne that’s already apparent and that’s still working its way to the surface without drying my skin. It takes a lot of time per each treatment, it’s not very comfortable to hold up after half an hour or so, and it takes several weeks to see the results, but the results are real and they last. This does not aggravate my other skin problems, which is super important to me. I’m sure that over time this will pay for itself.

it actually helps but major dealbreakers could ruin skin long term
i use it every day for the full length of time per beep (like a few minutes) and i see results. giving one star because a few things the manufacturer is shady about that others havenât touched on: (1) they do not disclose the wavelengths and (2) it gets way too hot.first for the wavelengths: this is a medical device, so they should be ultra specific about which wavelengths of light are emitted from the device so we can compare to published data and ensure weâre getting optimal and safe treatment.second, the heat it generates is too high: it can make the skin quite warm. which feels good but it borders on too hot. thereâs a lot of evidence that chronic exposure to high heat can cause premature skin aging (just look up published studies about premature wrinkles on bakers arms).The manufacturer should disclose technical device data.

Totally worth it!
I very rarely (if ever) write reviews but this product truly deserved one. I noticed during the school year last year that my acne started getting worse, edging between mild and moderate. It wasn’t completely obvious to everyone else but it drove me crazy and was something I really wanted to deal with over the summer before heading back to school. I tried dermatologist recommended creams, facials, etc…and I do think it was a combo of all of that that ending up working BUT I didn’t start seeing results until I started using the LightStim. I use it while I watch TV, it takes like 30 ish minutes, and makes my skin look and feel so much better (even my family noticed a difference)!

Recently had a break out or rash, not sure what it was from but have been using this every day for less than a week and itâs already cleared up a lot. I have had LED facials and the redness in my skin always goes down, glad I got this! I recommend using this along with Face Reality products if you are having any acne issues. Only downside is that it is a bit time consuming.

So Far It Works
Gave 5 stars at the beginning because it seemed to be helping me to my upper back and chest acne. However after a few weeks, acne started to come again and that device didn’t help. I felt like it’s useless. I already stop using it as it’s not effective and it’s not cordless so it’s very incontinence. I wanted to buy cordless one before buying this, but by looking at so many good reviews, i was optimistic to this device. Well, I already pass the return time, it’s gonna be stored somewhere in my house and someday I will forget it.
