Great Wifi extender
This wifi extender works great as advertised. Easy to setup and the signal is great.

Good wifi signal, great support, a little difficult to get going
It took me quite a while to finally get this thing to work. I actually opened a chat with Linksys support and was pleasantly surprised at the assistance I got. We eventually figured it out and the setup was complete. Next I put the extender in what I felt was a logical location so I could get the signal I needed throughout the house. I am amazed at how well it works. If you can just get through the setup, you will really be impressed with how much wifi you get. I figured at 80 bucks this better work, and – it does! Worth the money.

Connectivity is inconsistent
Bought this because it was highly rated. Will work fine for several days at a time and then suddenly drop the internet connection. Have relocated it several times with same results: the connection to my device is “Excellent” or “Good” and no internet after a few days. Have even tried the unclear and confusing “Reset” button to redo the setup. Now I’m stuck with it.

Clear instructions. The router is at the back of the house which is shaped like a “T”. Needed to get a strong signal to the front of the house to be able to stream.bb

Just received the wifi extender with the intent of adding coverage to my back deck and patio. Our router (Xfinity, something or other) which is not WPS, is in the front of the house.Unboxed it, and followed a previous reviewers instructions:1) Plug it close to the router2) Use a wireless device and change the Network to the new …._EXT network3) Follow the instructions on the device – told me it was too close, so moved it to a back room, and reconnected.4)Signal was in the green zone, Finnish the setup5) Saw a new network, same name as mine with _EXT6) Connect to that _EXT network when outside – full bars – great speed!So it was simple-pimple and I can now surf/work/play anywhere in the back deck area.Did not need to contact support so no stars there yet!Would highly recommend this wifi extender.
