Top end of the Zeno Series
I’ve recently had a chance to play around with a number of the new Lockly Zeno Series Smart locks. This PIN Genie Pro, a Secure Pro, and a Vision model. The Genie Pro and Secure Pro are mostly the same aside from the Secure Pro adding a fingerprint reader on top of the Lockly PIN setup. This Vision model adds a number of additional features. Like the Genie and Secure, you have Apple Homekit capabilities of unlocking with an Apple watch or phone. Like the Secure Pro, the Vision includes a fingerprint reader. Not only that, it also includes a video camera. Similar to a Ring. Now if you want facial recognition, you’ll need to look elsewhere. I believe the Visage from Lockly does this. I’d put that between the Secure Pro and the Vision though. The Visage has facial recognition but the camera isn’t an active camera, it’s only to scan faces. Back to the Vision, this model also offers a bolt plate sensor vs an external open/close sensor like the Genie and Secure. During installation of plates, just make sure to match up the red dots. This design eliminates the external door sensor that’s kind of ugly in my opinion. The Vision also adds an extra battery. This way you can always have a backup power option ready to go. Lastly, the Vision comes with the Vision Connect Hub which securely stores your recorded videos. Back to the Vision’s camera, image quality is good for both day and night. The 2 way audio is great. If you want a Smart Lock combined with a door bell camera, the Vision is for you.

I installed this smart lock on a front entry door and tested it over three weeks of daily use. For homeowners seeking a unified entry solution, the Lockly Vision Zeno combines a responsive smart lock with reliable video monitoring in a single device. Its multiple access methods, strong security features, and flexible battery system make it one of the most versatile smart deadbolts currently available.The hardware fit a standard deadbolt cutout without modification, and the included template and step-by-step app guidance made installation straightforward. Setup of the Wi-Fi module and integration with Apple Home Key took under 10 minutes, and the system was fully functional immediately.The smart lock combines multiple access methods effectively. Fingerprint recognition was fast and accurate, unlocking within a second even at varied angles. The PIN Genie keypad worked as advertised, randomizing numbers to prevent smudge tracing. Apple Home Key integration allowed me to tap my iPhone or Apple Watch for seamless entry, while the companion app supported remote locking, real-time alerts, and access sharing.The built-in video doorbell provided a clear 1080p stream with wide-angle coverage of the entryway. Notifications arrived quickly, and the two-way audio was loud and clear for visitors. During testing, the rechargeable batteries averaged about 3 weeks per charge with video streaming enabled, and swapping to the spare set took less than a minute. Build quality is sturdy, with a solid deadbolt action and weather-resistant housing that stood up to two heavy rainstorms without issues.

Everything works fine, but camera
I’ve used Yale and Eufy brand for more than a year and they were accurate and secure, however I got this lock which is my second one to see if it’s the same, sadly camera doesn’t work. In my opinion, fingerprint works properly and 90% of the time unlocks the door accurately. Keypad is another way to unlock it and works just fine. More importantly, the assembly is very easy and simple just follow the instructions and no drilling required. Besides, this lock is compatible with Alexa as well which makes whole life easier. Unfortunately, camera doesn’t work and keeps showing black screen, so I’ve tried to reset it, but still has problem.

Well made smart lock with video doorbell all in one
This is a well-made and professional looking door lock with video doorbell camera.It has multiple lock and easy open options as well such as fingerprint, keyless entry, keypad, Alexa and Google voice as well as app control.I like that I can easily swap out the batteries when one dies because it comes with two lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. Each battery is expected to last about eight months before needing a charge or replacement.The unit is very expensive at $429, but the quality is there and should last a lifetime when installed and used correctly.I like the style and design of this satin nickel smart lock.
