A great little camera, but you *need* strong WiFi
I have 4 of these and just bought number 5. I purchased my last one used and have had no problems so Iâm going used again. These cameras and the Logitech doorbell are a perfect fit with the Apple ecosystem. They are a major upgrade over the Arlo cameras we had previously. I think the bad reviews come from users with weak WiFi. Your $99 router wonât cut it, especially if you are placing cameras outside. I had mixed results with my previous router, which I finally had to admit was past its prime and needed replacement. Since upgrading the router (Orbi mesh), the cameras and doorbell have been flawless. If youâre a committed Apple user (especially if you have a higher tier iCloud account for storage), have your WiFi in order, and donât mind running some extension cords for power, these are the cameras to get.

**Title: Logitech Circle View – A Monumental Waste of Money**
**Rating: 1 Star**I bought the Logitech Circle View Camera from Amazon with high hopes, but it turned out to be a colossal disappointment. After merely 8 months, this so-called “high-end” camera ceased to function entirely.**Lack of Durability:**For a device marketed for home security, its lifespan was shockingly short, undermining any trust one might have in its capabilities.**Customer Service Nightmare:**Logitech’s helpdesk acknowledged the camera was beyond repair, yet they astonishingly declined to replace it. Their customer service didn’t just disappoint; it was outright infuriating.**Overpriced and Underwhelming:**The camera’s build quality didn’t meet expectations, especially for its price tag. Smart home integration was a nice touch, but it’s meaningless when the product fails prematurely.**Conclusion:**Steer clear of the Logitech Circle View Camera. It’s not just a waste of money; it’s an exercise in frustration. If you’re after reliable home security, look elsewhere – this camera isn’t it.

Jury still out
Pro: good video. Ease of installation and use. Able to do what I wanted it for. Video is clear and so is sound. Works extremely well with HomeKit for Apple. Price used was worth the purchase.Con: when first installed constantly going offline. Thought location. Purchased to use while on vacation. During time on vacay cameras were always offline. Now back in town work everyday. Little to now issues.Overall: still waiting. Will be installing outside under eaves of roof. Waiting on electrical in order to install. Jury to decide once outside.

Great quality
This product from Logitech is great and really easy to restore. For me, it didnât work out because I have to place it from inside my home and the camera didnât work well with glass in its way. The only way I would know that is by purchasing it. Thanks to the seller for making refurbished models available!Next place I live at, Iâll drill a hole for its cable.

Renewed product not working-returned
Camera would not connect to Apple Home. Tried multiple connection attempts (like 10), including factory reset. Green light on camera was blinking, meaning ready to connect but the âhandshakeâ with Adding Accessory in Home never worked; tried using camera to capture QR code and also entering code manually. Even left it on overnight then tried again in the morning. This was supposedly âRenewedâ? Started Amazon return within hours of receipt.

When they work they are ok
Iâm not sure if this is purely a HomeKit issue or a combination of issues between the hardware and HomeKit. Regardless, these cameras meet expectations if they work. Depending on your configuration you can stream live video, stream and record, and view recorded secure video from Apple Home. I found the onboarding of each camera (I bought two) to be easy if it worked the first time, but if it didnât, the onboarding became super difficult. I had to constantly consult the internet for troubleshooting tips to finally get it working. Once I got it working everything was fine for a bit, then suddenly the cameras disappeared from my Home view. The only way to get them back was to factory reset and do the whole onboarding again. The video quality is pretty good and the two-way communication is also good. I donât find the ability to turn the camera completely down to the base of use at all.In summary, the camera is ok, but I wouldnât buy this again.

Great camera!
Itâs tricky to gauge the quality of this camera based on reviews because theyâre so mixed. I acted on the assumption that most of the bad reviews are because technology is hard for lots of people. I bought 2 of these used/like new. They are amazing. Solid performance! I like them much better than the cheaper eufy cameras they replaced.
