Smaller than expected but pretty tough
I suppose I could have read the description more thoroughly but they are a little smaller I was expecting. I think theyâre designed for one of those small compost buckets that some folks use. Smallness aside, theyâre quite a bit sturdier than other composting bags Iâve used. They do rip sometimes if theyâre too full but I donât think you can expect them to be bullet proof. They never tear when Iâm ripping one off of the roll, which happened almost every time with the other bags I used, so Iâll get these again.

I usually receive great bags but yesterday I had to go through 3 different bags because they split up the sides. I was very disappointed

Fits 1.75 OXO Good grips compost bin
I bought this to line my OXO Good Grips Easy-Clean Compost Bin 1.75 GAL/6.62 L. It’s the perfect fit for that bin. It lines the bin and has enough left over so the lid can hold the bag in place. When you’re ready to remove the bag, there’s enough bag left over to grip and pull out of the bin.I have found it to be sturdy and durable. Doesn’t tear in the bin or break apart when im walking to the compost pile. It does seem to allow a LITTLE leakage inside my kitchen compost bin though. This isn’t a big deal, just an easy rinse and wipe and the bin is clean again. Just wanted to point out that after a week in my bin, it isn’t 100% leak proof. More like 90% leak proof after a week. But, I don’t think any compost bag would be totally fry after a week. So, still a good buy. I would buy again.

Excellent lichen compost bags
Iâve been using these bags for our kitchen compost bin for more than two years now and theyâve done a great job. We tend to pack quite a bit of stuff into it, often several pounds worth, and the bags hold up. I canât say how these are in comparison to other bags. I just know that weâve been very satisfied with them and I definitely recommend them.

Started breaking down in the container
These are the perfect size for my countertop compost container and donât hinder the lid closing.The issue I have is that they start breaking down within a few days. I went to pull it out when the container was full and the bag was split and had multiple holes in it and had leaked all over inside the container.I mean, I am super happy they really do break down but if I am going to have to clean the container anyway then why bother with the bag?

Excellent product that represents good value for money AND helps the environment. I have been on an environment kick recently but have been wary of this type of product, but I needn’t have worried! This is as strong as normal plastic bags, very convenient tie handles, and fits my 50l brabantia bin without issue. VERY VERY happy with this product and will definitely be buying again!!
