I bought the “Mag Suction” grip to keep my phone safe in the shower. I thought, “No problem, showers don’t last that long.” But I did make the mistake of leaving it suctioned to the wall while I was out for a few hours, and sure enough, it was on the floor when I got back. So yes, the reapply rule is real.That said, for normal shower use, it works great. The magnet holds my phone securely, and the included metal attachment means you can use it even if you don’t have a MagSafe phone or case. The design feels solid, the color is nice, and the magnet even “straightens out” the phone so it doesn’t sit crooked.Bonus points: it’s not just for the shower. I could see it working well on a headboard, fridge, or backsplash while cooking, basically anywhere you want your phone in view but out of harm’s way.Overall, it’s a handy little gadget. Great Hold! So Much Versatility – Separate Magnets With Hinge & Strap
I was concerned this MagSuction Grip Phone Holder had to be permanently attached to your phone case. But it doesn’t! It includes a separate magnet circle to attach to your phone case and then the Suction cup section also has a magnet making it easy to remove from your phone, so it’s not always on there. There is a hinge between the magnet & the suction cups allowing you to angle the phone as needed. This makes a lot more versatile for me. I have a magnet on my other phone so I’ll be able to easily use this with either phone camera depending on what I need. I got the black one. It feels very solid & sturdy and of really good quality, like I don’t have to be super careful with it, like most camera accessories. The attached strap is also nice to have bc this gives me a way to hang my phone if that is an option. There is really so much versatility to this one little accessory making this a really great value!

This thing is sturdy and sticks to and smooth surface really well! Very unlikely it’ll fall down from a mirror for any short duration. Don’t know if it’s for hours, but it seemed pretty stuck on. In fact, it was so stuck that trying to pull it free would pull it off the magsafe ring long before you can unstuck it.It seems to to hold onto any magsafe cases well, but the magnet isn’t strong enough to hold through any tpu cases. This has been a handy little accessory to have on hand. It’s small enough to fit easily into a pocket or purse, so I’ve taken it with me on the go quite a few times. The magsuction is decently strong … not the strongest I’ve tried, but decent enough. I wouldn’t trust it supporting my phone somewhere it may fall and get lost or damaged, but otherwise, I trust it. The suction cups stick well to hard and smooth surfaces (e.g., windows, mirrors, steel appliances). I love sticking it on my bathroom mirror as I get ready!I like that the hinge allows you to adjust the angle, which is something many other “suction” holders like this one do not (as they are flat). I find the bend to be limited, since the bottom of the phone itself hits the surface if you tilt it too far down. Not a big deal, but worth noting.
