I thought, “No problem, showers don’t last that long.” But I did make the mistake of leaving it suctioned to the wall while I was out for a few hours, and sure enough, it was on the floor when I got back. So yes, the reapply rule is real.That said, for normal shower use, it works great. The magnet holds my phone securely, and the included metal attachment means you can use it even if you don’t have a MagSafe phone or case. The design feels solid, the color is nice, and the magnet even “straightens out” the phone so it doesn’t sit crooked.Bonus points: it’s not just for the shower. I could see it working well on a headboard, fridge, or backsplash while cooking, basically anywhere you want your phone in view but out of harm’s way.Overall, it’s a handy little gadget. Just remember: it’s not meant to be a permanent wall fixture, it’s more of a short-term phone butler.Keeps your phone safe in the shower,just don’t expect it to babysit while you’re out running errands.

Strong Magnet but Weak Suction & Flimsy Build
I really wanted to love this product, but overall I’m pretty disappointed. While the magnetic force is definitely strong and works well with my iPhone and MagSafe case, the rest of the build doesn’t feel like it matches the hype. The hinge feels cheaply made, and I honestly don’t see it lasting very long with daily use.The suction cups are another big letdown. I had a really hard time finding a surface it would actually stick to, and when it did, it didn’t feel as secure as I expected. My $5 suction grip actually sticks better and feels more reliable, which makes this hard to justify at a higher price point.It does have some nice features, the woven loop strap is comfortable, and the magnet strength is impressive. But the overall construction and suction performance just don’t meet my expectations. It’s “okay,” but not something I’d buy again.

I was a little skeptical, but these suction cups really work. The fact that is is lots of little suction cups, instead on 1-3 large cups, really helps. And there is a tough cord that the bottom that you can use to give it a goos tug to remove.The suction works on any smooth flat surface. Mirror or tile for sure. Some walls – those painted with a smooth glossy finish may work, while rougher matte finishes may not. I was dismayed to find that this includes the dash or my car – they usually have too much texture to work (though if your dash has a smooth/glossy finish, your milage may vary). Overall I think any downsides are pretty obvious and expected, so this item still lives up to expectations.

I grab my keys, pick up my phone and the magnet sticks to the key ring or the suction clings on to the fob. The same thing happens with my tumbler, iPad and any other necessities. YouTube instructional videos can be watched on a mirror, cabinet door or a shelf. I don’t worry about the kids dropping my phone anymore because whatever they set it on, it’s staying on. The magnetic strength is unparalleled. I was exiting through a fire door with my phone half out of my pocket when I felt a tug. Yup you guessed it, the magnet pulled me back so it could stick to the door. The MagSuction also presents a solution to one of my pet peeves. I hate getting into a car with no mount. Whether it’s the kids or a rental it makes me crazy, thankfully that’s a thing of the past.

This is an interesting magnetic cell phone attachment. Because it attaches via magnets – typically the ones found on phones with MagSafe – it can be attached and unattached as often as you want. And, it attaches just fine on top of my phone case.The attachment has little suction cups on it that allow you to then stick your phone to a mirrored or glass surface. For folks who take a lot of selfies or video themselves doing things, this is a super useful feature. But for me, I just use it to attach my phone someplace up off a counter or table so I can watch my phone while doing something else.The attachment also has a small strap that you can use to grip or hold your phone so you don’t drop it. This only works because the magnet is so strong.Overall, it’s a useful little device for your phone, though when it’s on, you can’t easily slide your phone into the back pocket of your pants. It’s really a specialty type device that you can use when needed, but remove when it’s not needed.
