Customers say

Customers find the mower blade works well, with one mentioning it handles large lawns effectively, and many noting it’s better than their old one. The blade fits perfectly, especially with Troybilt 110 pushmowers, and is easy to install, with one customer noting it bolts right on. They appreciate its value for money, good build quality, and efficient grass cutting, particularly its ability to mulch effectively. The sharpness receives mixed feedback, with some saying it cuts great while others find it not the best or sharpest.

    Disconnect spark plug first
Always disconnect the spark plug before changing blades. Rotating the blade manually while changing blades can start the engine! Obviously you would have a bad day if that happens while your working on it.Tip your mower over toward the muffler side, not the gas tank side.Use thick gloves to avoid cutting yourself on the blade.Good blade. Easy to replace. Works great on my TB200 from 2014.Did I mention to disconnect the spark plug before changing the blade? Do it. Takes 2 extra seconds for safety. You’ll notice theres powder coating (black coating stuff) on the sharp side too, making it seem not sharp. Ignore it, it comes off and reveals the true sharpness within a few minutes of mowing with it. It’s just to protect the sharpened blade during shipping.

High lift with a bag all day!
I’ve had this blade since last year. It cut fine, but my mower wasn’t wanting to fill the bag very full. This spring I finally cleaned the carburetor and the mower runs so much better, that it now has zero problem filling the bag full. If I’m not careful it will pack the bag so full that it’s difficult to dump out.One thing I found out though, is if you run a high lift blade without the bag installed, that it doesn’t want to mow unless you have the side discharge chute open. A mulching blade will let you mow without the bag and with the side chute closed. I almost never mow without the bag, so I don’t really mind.

Fits the Pulsar PTG1221. Good quality replacement
This blade cuts right out of the package. Works well on my large lawn for weekly mowing. Used this as a replacement in the Pulsar PTG1221 after swapping the blade adapter as well. For the price especially, no complaints.

    A well made bagging blade
I liked the fact that the blade was well made, and they used good material to make it. When I installed the blade on the Troy-Bilt mower it fit well. I checked its balance and it was balanced. I am use to working with Older model John Deere lawn mowers which are well known for their ability to pick up grass clippings. The mower with the original blade on it from Troy-Bilt did not bag well at all, and when I tried to bag some of the leaves on the grass the bag would not fill up completely. When I changed to the Maxpower 331538S the grass looked better and the blade pulled up more grass clippings than the Troy-Bilt blade. I don’t know if it is the design of the Troy-Bilt stamped steel deck that prevents the mower from really bagging the clippings or what but it didn’t pull up as many grass clippings as my aluminium alloy John Deere bagging mower would in a side by side comparison. Like I said in the beginning the Maxpower blade was well made with premium materials and had the right configuration for a bagging blade and was reasonably priced. I ordered a Maxpower bagging blade for my son-in-law to replace a factory Toro bagging blade and he really liked it because it really worked.

    GREAT LAWNMOWER BLADE!
I was really impressed with the ability of this blade to lift dead grass or other debris off the lawn. I regularly have a problem with fallen pinetree needles on my lawn. This blade does a great job of picking up these needles– leaving my lawn with a nice clean look! 😀

    Nice blade for the price
The old Troy-Bilt mower blade had been through a rock field… back and forth over the years…Pros -This one came off and went on easy.Pretty good suction power, I don’t miss a lot of clippings, even when I mowe at a high setting.Cons -First cut it didn’t seem very sharp.. 2nd cut better.Lessons Learned -Change it when your mower is out of gas. I know… rookie mistake. I was just so excited to have a new blade. Before you put it on, run a sharpener over the blade. Amazon has the sharpeners that go in a drill. Nothing worse than a dull blade.Happy mowing!

    It is a mower blade.
Perfect fit for my mower. Replaced a bent and unusable blade that vibrated my push mower. Now she runs smooth and cuts the grass evenly. Recommend.

Le quedó perfectamente a mi podadora, ya tenía muy gastada la cuchilla original y no llenaba el saco con el césped que cortaba, regresó a funcionar igual que cuando la estrene y llegó antes de lo esperado
