I ordered the Maxshine Universal Hex Grip Wax Applicator for my husband, who is one of those guys that truly enjoys detailing cars. He found that the hex grip performed as advertised, making the applicator comfortable to hold and allowing him to apply wax for extended periods without discomfort.However, due to its bulk, he faced some challenges reaching tighter areas, such as under the luggage racks of our SUVs and other small spaces. While the hex grip applicator does an excellent job of applying wax quickly and evenly, itâs not an overall solution. He needed to use a smaller, standard wax applicators for those hard-to-reach spots.On the plus side, he noted that it cleans up easily with just a little water and appears durable enough to handle multiple waxing jobs, making it worth the price.

This is a great application sponge I use for wax. It works great feels good in the hand and the red section is very fine and soft, not scratchy like some others.
