Works Well for Blocking Light and Sound (Check Door Height First)
I purchased this door draft stopper for a bedroom door that lets in a lot of hallway light (and sound). Overall, it does a good job at blocking light and muffling noise when the door is fully closed, and itâs easy to install. You simply cut it to length, slip the foam into the fabric slots, and slide it under the door â installation took just a few minutes.The biggest issue for me is that my door is set slightly higher off the hardwood floor. Because of that, when I open or close the door, the stopper tends to slide under the gap and create some resistance. Itâs not unusable, but it is inconvenient. I imagine on a door closer to the floor, this wouldnât be a problem.As for quality, itâs foam â so itâs not meant to be heavy-duty, but itâs sturdier than I expected. The foam doesnât tear or crumble easily, and it holds its shape well. This isnât a security device, but in theory, if someone tried to open the door from the outside, it would add a little resistance since it wedges under the door.For the price, I think itâs a fair buy, especially for doors with less clearance at the bottom. It works well in most situations, and my issue is probably unique to the way my door is built.TL;DR: Easy to install, blocks light and sound effectively, but if your door sits too high above the floor, it may slide under when opening/closing.

Some good, some bad.
This product has some big pluses and some big minuses. On the plus side, it does appear to keep out any draft once it is installed. Installation is quite easy, once you figure out how to do it. On the minus side, the foam that gets inserted into the cover comes in sections about a foot long, and they need taped together with the included tape before installation. Also, if you have less than a 36 inch door, the velcro strips on the cover are not long enough, and you just have to count on pressure to keep the whole thing closed. Lastly, instructions English not goodly too and difficult reading assembling. Not recommended.

This is the 2nd draft stopper I received from the seller. Unfortunately, the 1st draft stopper didnât fit under my door and kept sliding out from underneath it. The gap below my door is wider than mostâdue to previously having the door trimmed years ago when carpet was installed. Now that weâve decided to unearth our beautiful hardwood floors, its left a 1 1/2 inch gap under the doors in our home. I bought this draft stopper mainly to block out noiseâsince footsteps and talking now seem to echo from the next room.After receiving the 1st product I received an e-mail from Nancy, asking about my satisfaction. She stated that she would gladly send a replacement draft stopper, in a different size, if the one I received didnât fit. I told her the size of the gap beneath the door and within a week or so, I received the new draft stopper.It fits much better than the 1st one, and also helps to lessen the noises coming from the next room. In no way does this make my room soundproof, but it definitely helps to minimize the intensity of the noises.The only reason I gave this product 4 out of 5 stars is that the product isnât flawless. By that I mean that some people may be expecting to receive some sleek, flawless design and that isnât the case. It does the job, and considering how the material is constantly sliding against the floor, itâs stays in place well. It takes a few tries to trim the inner foam piece to fit your door. I definitely suggest cutting the foam little by little to prevent over-cutting. Refit it under your door each time, and make sure to open and close the door before trimming again. I purchased this in brown and the color looks great against our hardwood floors! I especially like how the color blends in and doesnât look too obvious.Overall, nice product! Itâs attractive and does the job. Thank you again for excellent customer service!:)

Very low quality, you have to glue together the 3 small sized foams and insert them inside a low-quality fabric to make the two sides of the product. Very poor quality overall. Do not recommend at all!

This was bought as a “stocking stuffer” for a close friend. I recently built a room in her garage that has a 3 degree slant. when open, the end of the door scrapes the floor a little, and when closed has a 1″ gap. Unfortunately, we also have a rodent issue in this region, and having that gap was unnerving. This product is perfect for this situation . It insulates, reduces noise, prevents rodents AND works on uneven / un-level flooring. good price and prompt shipping as well.
