Does what I need it to do
I bought this to knock the races out of some trailer hubs I was replacing bearings in. It did the job well, it wasn’t too soft but not hard enough to mar the inside of the hub. It seems fairly sturdy and should last a long time.

Great tool to remove bearing races
Used this punch to remove bearing races in a set of RV brake drums. The brass is nice because it doesnât damage the steel surface of the drum and is soft enough to conform to the edge of the race to aid in removal. I had to file the end of the punch a bit to better fit race I was removing but the brass is incredibly easy to shape with a file and it took just a few passes with the file to get the shape I needed.

I used this drift to remove the wheel bearing races from a Mercedes hub. They came out easily and without damaging the hub. The drift will burr over after several bashings, but you just have to file it flat and re use. I would definitely recommend
