Remote Control: To enable HomeKit remote control, you need a HomePod, an Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, or an iPad. Set any of these Apple devices in your house as a HomeKit bridge and connect it to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Keep in mind that once your HomeKit bridge is set up, it has to be kept online. If it is powered off or disconnected from the Wi-Fi, it will fail to respond when you intend to control the device remotely.
Voice Control: You can control your devices hands free, just give voice commands to turn on/off the connected devices. Compatible with Apple HomeKit, Apple Watch, Siri, Carplay, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant.
Compact Size: Smart plug occupies only one socket, the device allows you to stack two mini smart plugs in the same outlet, which is convenient and practical.
Schedule: You can schedule connected home devices to turn on and off automatically by smart plugs. Save energy when lights are not needed or left on by accident. Sunrise and sunset setting are supported.
Quality: The mini plug is made of PC flame retardant material, and has been approved for safety and quality assurance. Certified by ETL and FCC, it supports home appliance up to 15A.
Customers say
Customers find the smart plug easy to set up and appreciate its compatibility with Apple HomeKit, considering it great value for money. The functionality and connectivity receive mixed feedback – while some say it works well with iOS 16, others report it stops working correctly, and while it connects well to Wi-Fi, some mention it disconnects after a few minutes. The reliability is also mixed, with some finding it reliable while others report it failing within a week.

Solid smart plug with unbeatable pricing
I recently purchased the Meross Smart Plug Mini, and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed with this product. Not only does it offer an impressive range of features, but it’s also incredibly reliable and stable within my HomeKit network. One of the things I love most about this smart plug is how easy it was to set up. All I had to do was download the Meross app, connect the plug to my Wi-Fi network, and voila – it was ready to use. From there, I was able to control the plug using the app, as well as through Siri, Alexa, Echo, Google Assistant, and Nest Hub. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to control my devices with my voice, and I love that I can do it all from one app.The reliability of these smart plugs is also really impressive. I have over 50 devices in my HomeKit network, and these plugs have never given me any issues or dropped connections. They always work exactly as intended, which is a huge plus.Another great feature of these smart plugs is the timer function. I love being able to set a schedule for my devices to turn on and off, which saves me time and energy. It’s also helpful for when I’m away from home and want to give the impression that someone is still there.Overall, I would highly recommend the Meross Smart Plug Mini to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile smart plug. It’s easy to use, works with a variety of voice assistants, and is incredibly stable within a large HomeKit network. Whether you’re a smart home enthusiast or just looking for an easier way to control your devices, this product is definitely worth considering.

Works great – well worth the (relatively inexpensive) price
I use Apple HomeKit as my hub, so the selection of supported devices is somewhat limited (although appears to be getting better). For Smart Plugs, I have been using Koogeek:– I have used them for years– I have about 10 of themI needed a few more Smart Plugs, and I was happy to see some relatively cheap options. After reading the reviews, I decided to try the Meross Smart Plug Mini.I am not disappointed.– The price was pretty good at about $12 apiece.– The plugs are well-built and straightforward.– The form factor of the plugs is good. They do not cover up neighboring outlets.– Installation was simple once I read the directions. A couple of tips:a) Make sure you install the Meross App and grant it permissions before you begin. (You will want to use the App to update the firmware of the devices.)b) Make sure to connect to your 2.4GHz band.c) Installation involves connecting to both the 2.4GHz band as well as a config network provided by the device. If you have multiple networks, make sure to turn off “AutoJoin” on all but the desired 2.4GHz band.d) You may have issues if your 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands share the same network name.I bought four of these plugs. After I figured out the above (which took me about 10-15 minutes), I was able to set up all four of my devices in about 10 minutes. They work great – and they can be grouped with my Koogeek switches as well.Very pleased so far. I will update this review if I experience any problems in the future, but at this point I would recommend these smart plugs.

Easy setup!
I use these for lighting scheduled with the Home app. By having an IHome hub you can set a time to turn the lights on and off. They work great and theyâre easy to set up

Stopped working after 6 weeks. Terrible tech support
This is one of the more affordable smart plug for homekit on the market and hence was giving it a try. I was hoping it went well so that would replace my light switch with Meross as well. Sadly it didn’t go as plan.I received 2 smart plugs towards end of Sept and I used it right away. The setup was easy and I was amazed that it was so quick to set it up and get it going. Fast-forward to 1st week of Nov (after around 6 weeks of usage), one of it stopped responding. I left it as-is for few days but the problem persisted.I reset the plug and tried to set it up again. It seems the Meross app has changed that I have to setup directly using Apple Home App (back in Sept during the initial setup, I can setup via Meross app first and the integrated with Home App, this seemed to have changed apparently). I have tried many times, resetting the plug, reboot my iPhone, etc. I couldn’t get it added back with “unreachable to device”.Given that my 2nd plug is still working and there’s no change in wifi configuration, I guess it’s the faulty item. I tried to get hold of Meross support via email. I sent emails 3 times (2 with safari browser and 1 with chrome browser. There’s 0 email notification that my case was received nor get any update on this subject. Will wait for another week and see if any response, but so far it doesn’t seem promising.Update:Meross tech support got back to me with detail instruction. It finally works again (bump up to 4 stars). However, there’s quite a few steps to undo on my network before it’s able to get it work again, like, removing my router from homekit, disable 5Ghz, disable client steering, ipv6, unplug apple-tv/homepod, etc, and redo all these.

Great help around the house
My rental has outlets in goofy places and no overhead lights in most rooms, so these come in super handy with the iPhone Home app.PROS:- easy to setup with a QR code.- easy to use with Siri – tell her the room and device to turn on/off, and she does it!- also can turn on/off manually (but you have to be able to reach the outlet to do it!)- can use this to set a time so the lights are on when I come home and off at bedtimeCONS:- no easy way to reconnect to the network in batch should you need to change your WiFi password

These plugs work as youâd expect once setup. They react VERY quickly through HomeKit when working with automations, Siri, or manual control through the Home app or the Meross App.Setup:This was the most involved part. As others have stated, HomeKit setup can be a little tricky if you havenât done it before, that being said I didnât run into nearly as many issues as other reviewers seemed to have had. I setup directly as a HomeKit device through the Meross app following the on screen HomeKit prompts. I also set up the devices in a kitchen outlet first so I donât have to bend over behind a couch for the initial setup. This also allowed me to keep the phone within a foot of the device for setup which seemed to help. The first time I tried I was standing 6 feet away with my phone in my hand and it didnât complete the setup, the please wait wheel just kept spinning. Once I left the phone on the counter directly under the plug (~1ft away) it setup instantly, the HomeKit prompts do tell you to stay âcloseâ to the device while setting up. Each plug must be set up individually, as such I recommend doing just one at a time so you donât get confused about which is which. Once the HomeKit setup was complete, you have to add the device to the Meross app again as it is not done automatically during the HomeKit setup. This isnât a bug, this is a HomeKit thing, not a Meross thing. In the Meross app you tap the â+â button in the top right and. The HomeKit plugs are recognized in the Meross app as unlinked deviced at the top of the add device page in the app. Once added to the app, it will prompt you for a firmware update, let the device do the update (1min), and then your done. You can not control the plug through the app or the home kit app.Use:Itâs a plug that you either turn off or on. My use case was for a pair of floor lamps that didnât have a dimmer, but required me to lean over my couch to turn on/off. The device reacts EXTREMELY quickly through HomeKit. The lag time between hitting the âswitchâ in the Home app is non existent. Conclusion:Over all Iâm very happy with the plugs. Sure they may have limited use cases, but if you have an application for an automated outlet, these work great! They are also ETL listed so you know they arenât some cheap product that will accidentally burn your house down.

I was provided this product for review.I already have a myriad of Meross Smart Switches, Wall Switches and the Garage Door system, and have had no problems with the setup using the Meross App and Google Home. The MSS110HK smart switch also provides support for Apple HomeKit as well as the standard Meross app and Google Home (and Alexa). I do not own an Apple TV or HomePod – this test is purely a local installation against my iPhone X – no remote capabilities were tested.I decided to follow the instructions explicitly – as the enclosed booklet recommended. First was setting up HomeKit, then they recommend setting up the Meross App afterwards.I turned off my 5GHz wifi access range as recommended – and left just the 2.4GHz running. I made sure my iPhone X (iOS 13.5.1) was connected to the 2.4GHz band. My wifi is an Archer C7 running OpenWRT 19.07.3.I plugged in the smart switch to the power socket and it started the usual setup – the led flashes between green and orange indicating it’s ready. You then start the Home iOS app on your phone and press Add Accessory. You take a photo of the 2D barcode on the smart switch itself and it thinks for a while – and it failed for me.Reset the smart switch (hold down the button for 5 seconds until it blinks green and orange) and try again. Still failed. At this stage I turned the 5GHz band back on (so both are running) and reset and tried again – success!I’m not sure which band either device was connected to, but it shows up in the iOS Home app and I can control it.At this stage I decided to connect the Smart Switch to the Meross app and upgrade the firmware in case that might be causing issues.I opened the Meross app and it should appear as a new device after I press the ‘+’ in the top right corner. I didn’t appear. So I decided to try the old method I was used to. I selected the Smart Mini Plug from the list and it asked me to connect directly to the wifi point on the smart switch itself (this is standard procedure for all my other smart switches). At this point I ran into a HomeKit issue – it wouldn’t let me connect to the wifi point on the switch. It knew about the device and placed it further down under ‘Setup new device’ (Screenshot attached). If you select this you get the next screen ‘Add to Home and Wifi’ (screenshot attached) – and pressing this opens the iOS Home app and asks you to scan the barcode on the device (which at this stage is already connected and working).I then removed the smart switch from iOS Home altogether, reset the switch and tried again – it still detected it as a HomeKit device. After quite a few resets, it eventually became selectable in the standard wifi list and I could connect and add it to the Meross app. I then updated to the latest available firmware (4.1.11) and tried to add it to iOS Home again.I added it to Home by resetting and scanning the barcode as before. After about 20 minutes, it became unresponsive and also disappeared from the Meross app. I attached the screenshot showing it unresponsive.I unplugged the switch from the socket and decided to try again the next day.On my next attempt, things went much smoother. I removed the device from iOS Home, reset the smart switch and added it by scanning the barcode. I kept both wifi frequencies on.I then went to the Meross App and pressed the ‘+’ button in the top right-hand corner. This time the app showed my new Smart Switch right at the top of the list (sorry, forgot to take a screenshot) explaining that it’s already recognised and just press the highlighted ‘Add’ button. I added the new device and it appeared in my list. I then added it to the correct room and added it to Google Home as well with no issues. So I did manage to connect my device to HomeKit, the Meross App and Google Home. On my 10th attempt – the flow was almost exactly as described in the Meross instructions. I’ve since had a few ocassions where HomeKit has stated the device was unresponsive – but it worked fine through the Meross App and Google Home, so I don’t blame the smart switch itself. So I give the device 4 stars. As a standard Meross smart switch using the Meross App and Google Home it’s rock solid. As for HomeKit support – it’s working ok – hence the 4 stars. I’m not sure what Meross can do to make the HomeKit flow easier – it’s potentially a software issue in iOS – but the process of scanning the barcode was very easy.

Set up was less than a minute with homekit. I used on a stand lamp which doesnât support smart bulb. Turns on and off faster than hue bulb.

Llevo varios años usándolos, se enlazan fácilmente a HomeKit y con algunas actualizaciones de firmware a través de la app de Meross se han hecho muy estables.

The Meross Smart Plugs are a welcome addition to my growing list of Meross products. Each of their products has worked great and as you would expect. The Smart Plugs came in a small, well packaged box with clear installation instructions, a FAQ, warranty, and additional information on the Apple HomeKit. The plugs seem to be very well built and feel solid and are sleek in design so that two of them can be plugged into one standard wall socket. They are rated at 120v and 15Amps which is perfect for almost any home appliance or light. Installation was very easy. Plug them into the wall socket, verify the lights are blinking orange and green, go to your Meross App, click to add a new device, it’ll find the new device, click on it and choose an icon and name for the new device. That’s it! The App shows a bunch of useful information like: Name, Location, Wifii signal strength, Model number, Firmware version, MAC address, etc. You can even choose to disable the little LED if you want. I have both plugs connected to two lights in separate rooms. In the App I configured a schedule to turn the lights on once it gets dark and then turn them off around bedtime. I also connected it to my Google Home and have the ability to use voice control to turn on and off the plugs. All I have to say is “Hey Google turn on the lights”, and then all the lights will turn on. I can also turn on individual lights. These things are awesome. Thanks Meross!
