Great for what they are
Iâm happy with them and they exceeded my expectations and needs. Great product considering the price point. These are designed to be portable, light and easy to store, so their obviously not built like tanks. As others have said, the leg spread more narrowly than other similar brands, but I suspect thatâs so that they can hold more weight (the closer to vertical the legs, the less likely they will buckle under a load). That does mean theyâre less stable laterally, but really all these light plastic saw horses have that problem, you just have to go easy. Itâs not really noticeably different to me than other light plastic saw horses. If you need something that cannot be knocked over, you have to pay up or just build some out of 2x4s.

Lightweight and sturdy if used correctly
Good sawhorses. Didnât have issues with the set I received not opening correctly as other reviewers have mentioned. Like most other plastic folding horses it all depends on if the molding and assembly is correct from manufacturer as the fingers on the shelf must align correctly and lay flat otherwise they are unstable and want to fold up on themselves if pushed or bumped.You have to take into account that these are meant to be space saving, portable and easily moved so there are trade offs vs a set of heavy wooden 2×4 or similar sawhorses.Included sawbucks are a nice addition.

Seriously awesome sawhorses
Sturdy, lightweight sawhorses with nice features…cord wrap, bottom shelves, sawbucks to adapt for holding 4 x 8 plywood sheets, etc.Every conceivable convenience is onboard at a reasonable price…even the feet are non-slip.Just get these — they will provide a well-appreciated necessity for a variety of projects.

Good value for the money
Well made saw horse legs. I keep a couple of 8â 2X4s to place in the tops so that I have a large work surface when I need one. Very light weight and seem sturdy. My garage is pretty full and these fold into a compact package when not in use.

The extra clips are very useful. Broke the extension cord hooks off on the first use, but the saw horse function works very well.

Metabo sawhorses poorly designed with fragile hinges
This pair of Metabo sawhorses worked ok by folding and unfolding properly for several normal uses. But center hinge of the two panels fell apart. Very bad quality. Attempts to realign the interlocking hinges failed due to frustratingly poor alignment of all the hinge fingers and several just snapped off. These sawhorses are poorly designed and fragile in spite of Metaboâs weight rating. I must put them in the garbage and buy a reliable pair for for my business. Iâve used a pair of Stanley Fat Max folding sawhorses for 10 years and they work as good as new.

I can see why these are never in stock, it is too good of a deal to pass up.I received my pair a little over a month ago and I haven’t had any problems. In fact, the image someone uploaded to review that had a broken part wasn’t a review for this product, I think they were showing a plastic sign holder.I purchased this to work on my RV and so far haven’t stressed these Metabo HPT sawhorses. Once you have them placed level and have a piece of wood, or in my case an aluminum shelf for a greenhouse, these sawhorses are very sturdy. The electrical cord holders are nice especially since the ground is very wet from all the rain and I don’t want to worry about stepping on the cords while I am working and possibly receiving a fifteen or thirty amp shock after stepping on the cord that is pinched by a rock.These sawhorses are extremely lightweight and fold so easily I can tell you I will travel with these because there are so many uses for a good sawhorse.If you are a carpenter working at a worksite, why in the hell are you looking at these when it is so easy to build a pair at a worksite? Yeah, these are for home or workshop use.The pair are supposed to have a weight capacity of around a ton, but I haven’t put anything on them that weighed over two hundred pounds. If anything, that weight made these sawhorses more sturdy.And if you need a quick serving table for a party, these will do nicely.

Tengo ya dos juegos de estos soportes. Tienen un balance muy práctico entre resistencia y ligereza. Faciles de transportar incluso en la cajuela de un sedán. Las guÃas para montar tablones travesaños de 2″ facilitan el montaje de mesas estables provisionales (y no tan provisionales) de corte de madera. Los colgadores laterales son prácticos para colgar las extensiones eléctricas y no tenerlas sobre el piso en una sesión de trabajo.

Obviously these arenât heavy duty but they are awesome for home projects. We have used to build a fence in our yard and trim a few doors. So far no wear and tear. Great for the price.
