Good Value Shelves
I ordered 2 of the 48 x 24 x 72 shelves. Assembly was pretty easy and Iâm satisfied with the quality. True outside measurements are within an inch of whatâs listed. I would say they are probably a medium-duty shelf because of the design and thickness of the metal. But, a good value for the cost. I put a few hundred pounds of stuff on each and they seem plenty sturdy enough for that.

Surprisingly well-made and sturdy! Better looking than many of the competitors!
I’ve used a lot of shelving for my business. Everything from the cheap plastic shelving when I was new and didn’t know anything, to the Gladiator brand industrial shelving that I now consider to be well worth the cost at ~$250 per 4-foot section. My parents needed some shelving for some garage storage, and didn’t think $250 per section was justifiable, so I looked through the reviews for what was available on Amazon. These seemed to have decent reviews, and I liked that they have metal shelves, as opposed to the typical wood fiberboard that comes with others. I ordered one set, just to see how they were, and was fully ready to have to return them if they were as bad as some shelves I’ve had in the past.I was surprised by the quality control on these. Everything fit together VERY well, and there was nothing which was bent out of place or needing to be hammered back into position, as I have had with other shelving. The plastic caps/joiners for the uprights are a little fiddly, but they provided a full set of spares in case any are broken during assembly (in putting together two sets of shelves, I snapped one out of 16 of the caps). The shelves are quite sturdy when put together. As with all non-industrial shelving, the weight ratings are not really realistic, but putting a couple hundred pounds of evenly-distributed weight on each of the shelves shouldn’t be an issue. The additional rungs to put between the shelves to keep items from falling off are also a nice touch, and work well. The uprights being folded in such a way to keep the holes/pegs on the inside make them both easier to work around and better looking compared to similar shelves which have these exposed. They look better than many of the competitors, and wouldn’t be out of place in a workshop, studio, craft room, or similar areal where some of the cheaper fiberboard options would have too industrial of a feel. I have even considered getting some of these for in my retail store.

Great shelf!
I love this shelf! Iâve had it for about a month and Itâs exactly what I was looking for. I used it for my two 40 gallon tanks. Itâs sturdy and the shelving heights are adjustable. It was easy to put together.

Flimsy, defective design-do not purchase
Very flimsy-do not purchase! After assembling the shelf, I found it to be very flexible. I put the allowed White capacity on there and the thing broke it now leans to the side. Don’t make the same mistake. I did. I read reviews that said this shelf was sturdy. It is not sturdy.Fortunately, I waited until after the return window to assemble this so I can’t return it, but I would consider this a defective product right out of the box because of the design

Great budget option for dependable storage
I already own a couple Gladiator style shelves that look similar to these. I needed more shelving in my basement, but didn’t really need them to be that heavy duty. These are a great option for something like that. Other reviews are correct, these are not as heavy duty and feel thinner but they still feel plenty stable enough, once you get them put together. Everything was packed great and these are so easy to install. Nothing was bent out of shape or warped. The provided mallet was especially helpful. They were also quick to put together. I think each took me 45 minutes. The instructions are not very clear, but the images were enough to give me the general concept and then I just started working from there.

Perfect for Packages
We are using this shelving unit for package organization in our condominium. It’s sturdy, durable, and easy to put together. The shelves can be adjusted to be the right size. It’s a great value for the cost.

Still undecided
I bought these shelves (2) to make a pantry in our garage. They were pretty easy to put together is you have two people doing it. Otherwise, itâs hard to hold the poles and connect them. They are filled with heavy cans, etc now and seem very sturdy. They are also up against the wall, so only time will tell. They had dents here and there in them that I had to use a hammer to try to take out.I do have to say that they are very wobbly when heavy items arenât on them. There are cheap plastic brackets that hold the metal poles together which doesnât make any sense to me. It fell apart on us twice while trying to move after we put it together. So I definitely recommend putting together in place so you wonât have to move it.I think for the cost, itâs what is to be expected. I hope that itâll hold up long term but time will tell.
