Good, solid easy replacement boots
My vent pipe boots on the roof are nearly antique and I wanted to upgrade before monsoon season this year, so this was a great find to try out for everyone.Very good value on these – two boots for less than the price of one at my local store.Functioned exactly as it should – after getting the old boot and residual mastic removed, these slid over easily and adhered quite easily with new sealant. Got a good seal on roof level as well as at the pipe itself.They fit perfectly and didn’t have to use extra mastic or make modifications to the product.Made well, and hoping they will withstand hot weather and desert sun.Before the install, they mistakenly got thrown into the back of the SUV, where they rode around under a 100 pound jack and two cases of water that kept tipping over onto the box – all for a whole week with zero damage, so I think it’s safe to say they’re built well enough for any kind of odd trampling they might get up top.Very happy, and definitely more confident going into an eventually rainy summer!

Basically identical to the ones sold at local hardware stores
These roof vents are basically identical to the one I bought from Home Depot. The plastic and the rubber boot are of similar thicknesses. I have not installed it yet because itâs around freezing temps here and I don want to break any shingles. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because of the price. Depot and Lowes sell for $10 and these are $5 more. With that being said, I did not have to take a special trip to the store and the extra cost could be worth that. In my photos, youâll see a picture of two roof boots. The one with the tag is from depot. My other picture was when I put a test piece of 3 inch pipe through the boot. Perfect seal.

Sturdy and holding up well
These are very sturdy and great for medium to large pipes.-They came in well packaged and in perfect shape.-The plastic they are made out of is very sturdy and doesnât crack or bend easily.-They are a bit excessive for smaller pipes so I would use them for larger ones.-The rubber the ring is made out of is very thick and a bit tough to cut. Although it also does not tear easily so that is good.Overall these are holding up great to sun and other weather just fine.

Cannot handle high heat and burns
Burning smell was abound after installing this on our camping stove when it was being used. When we checked it the darn thing was melting. Do NOT buy.
